OG spent nearly 36% of his time guarding PG/SG this year per BBall index.

I think he should count as a backcourt defender.

Dort might be the best perimeter defender right now. Dude is a tank also.

Where do you get this assumption? Thybulle is very good one on one if anything players never dribble near him unless they have a screen ready

Watch out for Suggs and RJ Hampton. RJ had a growth spurt and is 6'6" now.

He is a bit undesized, so that limits him against SGs, but yeah, he is excellent as a PG defender.

This is slightly OT but the upcoming backcourt of Hayes(6'5)and Cade(6'8) has a ton of potential to be very good. Hayes, in the limited games he did play exhibited very good defense, and Cade is sound defensively.

Why are posters mentioning players that haven't even played in the NBA like Suggs and Cunningham

Hunter and Reddish gotta be in the conversation. I remember earlier in the year the 2 of them had a great game couple games defending KD and Kyrie. They can guard 1-4, so I'm going to count them as backcourt.

Did you watch him in the postseason? Trae abused him over and over. Thybulle left the ground on what seemed like every single pump fake. He fouled guys shooting 3’s more times than I could track. He’s very overrated.
