No, need 1 more key piece. At centre Looney/Wiseman are decent but not great, an upgrade on Wiggins at SF is needed, liked the progression of Poole.

I can’t make an assessment after two games in. Need more games to be played before I can be sure. But the Dubs look to be a playoff team again especially with Klay.

Before the season, I predicted they'll be the 4th seed. When Klay returns, he will be rusty. He'll also need to get over the mental hump of worrying about re-injury. That will probably take a month or two, but once he is comfortable...I'm expecting him to get 19 points a game and provide consistent support to Curry.

They won't make the Finals this year.

Lakers will still have the best record.

They could, although they wouldn’t be my pick. But making a mid season trade that nets them another solid vet would help too.

I would bet against this. The Lakers will sit their 3 stars a lot so they’re heathy for the playoffs and the depth after those players isn’t very good which is very important in the regular season but less important come playoffs. You have to want to win the most games first, and I don’t think that’s a Laker goal. They just want to finish in the top 6.

Yeah Curry gets to remind ya'll that he's an unanimous MVP and he didn't need KD to win him rings, just did 'the best' thing he could do for his franchise & go along with it. They're going to have a great year and if Klay can open up the floor even more for Steph then the rest of the league is in trouble.

Healthy Denver and it’s a wrap out west...sorry but the joker with a older smarter healthy squad with no Kawhi to stand in their way gonna dismantle the west

The biggest worry I have with Klay is how he looks defensively. He's not going to forget how to shoot and will always have that gravity even if the ball isn't in his hands, but he was one of the best perimeter defenders in the league who always took the hard assignments in the backcourt so Steph wouldn't have too. HIs elite perimeter D was maybe the most underrated aspect of the Warriors dynasty IMO. If he can still provide that and be one of the greatest shooters of all time, I think the Ws are in great shape. They will also need young guys like Poole and Wiseman to step up to the plate if they want to make it far, though.

Play is a little overrated defensively. He is a good positional defender, particularly with man defense, but as a help defender he is pretty terrible and help defense is more important in general.

Come playoff time Id still take the Lakers or Nuggets over them in a 7 game series.

They have a good chance of winning another title with that roster. LAL has to be healthy to beat them out, which is so unlikely to be the case.

If Curry can score 45 points a game, then yes.

Adding Bjelica, Otto Porter, Iguodala, a matured Poole, and yes Klay Thompson....in place of Bazemore, Oubre, Wanamaker, Nico Mannion, and Mychal Mulder, will make a team better.

I don’t see a big difference between the two minus a healthy Klay and better Poole.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, last year the Warriors went 2-1 against Denver with Curry averaging 40 points in those games. And the Warriors are indisputably a better team this year, not even counting Klay. Murray played in 2 of those games and shot 33%. Not trying to minimize the Nuggets because they are really good but I do think the Warriors can hang with them just fine.

Who would be the 4 out?

AD, LeBron, Melo, Monk, with Westbrook as the "in"?

GSW will be good and has a chance to win any series but there are a lot of questions about this team.

Poole needs to produce, the next people that have to produce are the vets. Iggy, Bjelica, Otto. If those 4 produce this season, the team will be elite. The depth was horrendous last season.

Anything + from Wiseman, Kuminga, Moody is a bonus, not a necessity.
