But good for THT, he's developing into a real good player!

I'd be very alarmed if he was turning anything but 21 next.

There's a missing word in there.

Next week

THANK YOU LMAO

Lol @ people still picking Caruso over him. Smh. Lebron can turn any “high IQ/high Effort” guy into a quality player, especially the ones that had to fight their way into the NBA. Ask Dellanova. Austin Reeves is next. Those guys are a dime a dozen. A player of THT’s build, with his skill set at his age are rare.

Way too early to start making threads over him lol. Let's see how good he is in the playoffs.

Watching Caruso on the Bulls shows he’s anything but dime a dozen. But apparently you missed what’s happening so far this season.

But realistically BOTH THT and Caruso should be on this team. Going with Nunn over AC because he was 5 million cheaper was the real major mistake.

Reminds me a little of a poor man's craftier but less explosive pre-injury Eric Gordon.

The same people that laughed at his name being brought up in trade rumors are acknowledging his talent and upside. Gotta love it.

He's the 2nd best hyphen last name player in the league. Not as good as Shai Gilgous-Alexander but better than Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

But all jokes aside - if THT can give the Lakers 30 minutes a night where he guards the other teams best perimeter player while hitting 3's at a league average clip it changes so much with this current Lakers roster.

Especially considering the taxpayer MLE that went to Nunn could have gone to another piece - a Rudy Gay/Jeff Green type.

If we trade LeBron/AD and give the team to THT we're probably a top 2 team in the West.

If the Lakers didn't re-sign him and he was doing this with another team, this board would be throwing a fit like they did with Caruso.

He's the real deal and only 20 years old.

The other day was gonna make a thread basically about where is THT this year after the hype, and why aren’t the Lakers using him more. I feel like he’s been in the league 5 years already. Then as I’m going over data I see he’s just 20 and stopped making the thread LOL. He has really good upside. I’ve always said he reminds me a lot of 2010-2011 Eric Gordon in how he plays.

He’s gonna be good for a long time in this league. I hope Lakers expand his role

His role has been expanded thus far. As soon as he was healthy they made him a starter. He was a bench player in previous years.

Taking those open shots is something he should probably write home about it. He used to just kick it out or put his head down and drive. THT the perimeter threat is a different type of player.

First off, good call. There are a few posters like yourself that recognized his talent, but that was few and far between. I'd say in general the board was pretty divided. And I'm not talking about that thread only, I remember all the gameday chatter centered around him. There was always a whole lot of he's a scrub, just another overrated Laker that the team is using as trade bait, etc.
