IMO The Decision was the most offensive thing he's done in his career, and it's definitely iconic.

hard to pick one, but the orlando game winner probably was the one that signaled to people "uh, this guy actually is kinda clutch"

Larry Bird's signature play is a defensive one, and there's a thread on here calling him a candidate for GOAT.

LeBron's jumper to seal the 2013 title was pretty important but probably overshadowed from the epic game 6 prior to that.

Game winner in Toronto comes to mind for me. That was the best version of LeBron ever in my view.

Curry one seems like a stretch compared to the others.

Anyway maybe.
You got his game winner vs Orlando or his game sealer vs spurs game 7

The dunk on the pistons during the 25 straight points game.

Bullying his way into the basket running people over like shaq but from the perimeter. That's his offensive signature.

But his best single play will be the Iggy block that should've been a dunk instead of a layup.

Also Kyrie's signature offensive shot was a few seconds before it.

If AI gets the Ty Lue step over and loses the next 4 games and the series, LeBron can have the shot vs Orlando.

Before his game winner .vs. Orlando, we also had:

LeBron dunks over Tim Duncan in 2006:

LeBron crab dribble for a playoff win over the Wizards in 2006:

btw, I'd say Jordan's shot over Russell was more infamous as he clearly fouled. As a Cavs fan, I'm just not going to mention the one that comes to my mind ...

I would go with a very underrated play, the 2013 Pacers game winner.

I mean, there are plenty of game winning (jump) shots in NBA play off history. But I don't think there are many, if any other, buzzer beating drive. Not to mention he did it against the nr. 1 defense, being guarded by an All D player in Paul George, receiving the ball 20+ feet away from the basket, with his back to the basket and having only 2.2 seconds left to complete the drive. 999 out of 1000 would have settled for a turnaround or pull up jumper.

When I think of it, his game winner against Magic always comes to mind first. He honestly has multiple great moments, so its hard to single out one.

His signature shot will be the one that breaks Kareem's scoring record. I hope it's as great as the Captain's was:

HypeMode wrote:It's crazy to think that LeBron will end his career with over 50,000+ Points and 15,000+ Assists yet somehow he won't end up with a defining Offensive play that we will remember him for. His career highlight is a Block in Game 7. No other All-time great has a defensive play as their defining moment.

AI had his step over of Ty Lue
MJ had the shot in Utah over Bryon Russell
Magic Johnson had the baby hook
Shaq and Kobe had the alley oop vs Portland
Hakeem had the dream shake vs David Robinson
Curry had the buzzer beater vs OKC

LeBron will end up being the most prolific Offensive player in history but still end up without an offensive highlight that will be played for eternity.

Surely Currys had better moments than a regular season buzzer beater lol, cmon now…

While this is a cool topic ( ive seen every one of these moments live except the Magic one ), the better discussion is Lebron not having a signature shot I think. Jordan fadeway, Magic and Kareem baby/sky hook, Shaq had himself a baby hook that he spammed and destroyed teams with too, the Harden stepback, the dreamshake and the list goes on and on of signature shots or moves (Hardaway killer crossover )… but Lebron?? None really, he just uses a full arsenal on defenses to destroy them. I’m sure his haters will correct me and claim the “lower the shoulder drive” as his move lol.

On topic, yes, his “moment” is definitely that iggy block… could maybe add Giannis as a second superstar whos “moment” is a even more ridiculous block ( on Ayton). That could change for Giannis but for now its definitely that.

Actually he has too many, so none of them really stand out individually

Not sure , but the one that I always see that is not a play at all, is just him constantly touching his nipples and adjusting his jersey before each and every play.
Kobe Bryant forever
GO LAKERS
8-)
I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.

I think that and the game winning lay up are both up there. Honestly though I don't think of MJ as having just one either. He has like 4-5 that stick out. Kareem also I have no idea what his most remembered offensive play would be. There's a bunch of sky hooks he hit at times his teams needed two points.

Hilarious to read here that Kobe's signature play-of all people-is a pass
