Not sure how you can watch this and think Ben freaking Simmons makes the Nets better than Harden did. I'm sorry. I know the narrative the last couple weeks but...

Because Harden clearly didn't care to be there. If Harden was motivated then obviously it's a different story.

People are forgetting how good Simmons is and all his weaknesses will be covered with Durant/Kyrie there. They also got Curry/Drummond + 2 1st rounders from the deal, which they can use to fill other weaknesses going forward.

Meh.. wolves on the 2nd night of a back to back. I’ll reserve my judgement until they’ve faced some real competition.

I would be scared to be forced to watch a whole 76ers game front to back with how many FTs and fouls are going on in this first game.

For the record, I know this game and the bucks games doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things but it's just funny to see fans find ways to ignore that the sixers are a good team. We all know once they play a good team and if they win, another excuse with be brought up

Nothing has changed then. Difference is teams were intentionally fouling Ben Simmons . At least you'll be watching FT makes instead of bricks tho

But are we in the scary hours???

But honestly, if Harden does not revert to dribbling the air out of the ball than ha pg skills should help.

I still think that the Sixers lack shooting but Hardens passing can get them better in rhythm shots

I already think the Sixers can be the team to come out of the East. I mean this year really feels like it’s up for grabs.

That was BEFORE though, Harden has changed!

Wait...

From other forums I’ve seen it’s being even more heightened how his game hasn’t been fun to watch tonight. Embiid dragging the game even more with all the free throws I had to tune off myself

Boston looked amazing vs sixers. They hit like 20+ three pointers

Pretty ugly game tbh, lotta dumb fouls and shots by the Sixers and the Wolves having an off night. But Harden makes everything so much easier for the team, really exactly what they’ve been needing. Even if he and Joel don’t figure out a perfect synergy it’s huge to have another way to generate good offense at will.

Embiid isn’t even playing great. Harden is being harden.

I know timberwolves on back to back nights.

But just for this game. It just looks like sixers are toying around. Add Maxey running wild with open layups. I don’t know where teams can find a focal point to defend the sixers.

I don't know about getting fleeced but Nets aren't a contender with this roster. They should have kept Harden till the summer.
