Klay Thompson's 37 point quarter against the Sacramento Kings. Somebody may tie it someday but I don't see it being broken. Klay shot 13-13 and 9-9 from 3. They'll have to be perfect and get up more shots.

Steph has 22 games with at least 10 made 3-pointers. Next on the list has 5 games (Klay.)

If you think it's possible for a player to get to 37 in a quarter and match Klay... why is it so difficult to fathom someone getting to 38?

Yeah, even though pace is way up, it's still nowhere close to where it was in the 60's.

Any and all 3 point records will be broken in the future. Game is just going to more 3 point focused and more skilled shooters coming.

Also Wilt's rebounding record.....for reference, he has nearly 10k more rebounds than the most recent active player to crack the top 10, which is KG in ninth place. Dwight is the only active player in the top 10 and he's catching up KG, but still is also around 9k short.

Crazy because if Rondo stayed relevant this entire time he would probably be close as hell!

He has 7560 for his career. If he never left Boston I say he breaks that record. His career took a major downfall following his departure from Boston.

Maybe, maybe not. I doubt there is any record that anyone is further away from. 22 games is more than 4 times the closest 2nd place. Any other record that far away?

stockton récords are more doable than people think imo, Chris Paul with better health would challenge them

wilt scoring average and rebounding average récords are the ones that are impossible now

the 100 point record is absurdly hard but possible imo

I dunno man....

In his 7 full Boston seasons he had a total of 3943. (around 564 a season). In the next 7 seasons he had 3279 (not a huge drop off, around 467 a season.)

Even if he kept his Boston form in years 8-14, he would have still been at only 8k, and that's me rounding up. He has played 2 more seasons since his 14th year , and assuming he somehow played every game and averaged 10 assists a game, that would still put him at around 9600ish.

That would still leave 35 year old rondo well short of Stockton's 15,806. That record is just filthy!

For reference, Luka has 2003 in nearly 4 full seasons and Trae Young has 2424 in the same time span...and they have came out firing with extremely impressive assists stats. But even if they play 20 years each and continue to get assists at the same rate, they would far closer to just 10k in total vs Stockton's 15,806.

No ones beating Hasheem Thabeet's hand size. Looked like he was holding an orange tennis ball.

Wilt Chamberlain - 100 points or 55 rebounds in a game; 35 consecutive FG made; 48.5 minutes, 50.4 points or 27.2 rebounds per game for a season
John Stockton - 15,806 assists or 3,265 steals for his career
Walt Bellamy - 88 games in a season
Phoenix Suns - 107 points scored in a half (without any overtime periods)

This is honestly the real answer, and it could easily be considered a typo by someone who just glanced over records. Averaging more minutes per game than there are in an actual regular game is so **** preposterous it makes me laugh

Wilt missed 8 minutes for the entire season when he was ejected for fighting.

Wilts 100 without the benefit of a single 3 pointer will be impossible to break.

If it says Wilt or Stockton the odds of it being broke are next to none. The rest….well…..

I agree that Wilt’s are harder, but it is damn crazy that CP3 has been around since 2005 and is only a little over 2/3 of the way to Stockton. The health is part of what makes it so hard, but even then CP3 wouldn’t be on track to surpass Stockton. He needs about 8 more seasons without decline to catch Stockton, and that is pretty crazy.
