They shouldn't. I don't like them doing that even if they secured the team wins record last night. They need to play for the sake of the fans who paid good money to see them. This "resting" BS needs to stop.

No way. They've clinched the 1 seed by a long way. It's the second night of a back to back with 3 games left in the year. You'd be an idiot to play them to appease some LA fans.

Betting wise. Can anyone tell my why Hawks are +10.5 favs over the Wizards? Wizards have been playing decent basketball recently. I can see this being a close game.

It's not about appeasing LA fans. It's about ANY fans that paid to see them play. They're not injured and they should play regardless of it being the second of a B2B or whatever else. This is a game for the fans and those fans are owed the best experience deliverable. Sitting healthy players isn't it.

This isn't a new thing and I've never been happy about it going on. Strategy, protection, call it what you will. It's still uncool.

Nah its the end of season and they wrapped up the #1 a while ago. They've earned the right to rest their players.

Fans should know that any game towards the end of the season is at risk of not meaning much.

Also, look at tanking teams like Blazers, OKC etc. They've had guys out for months. The Suns, who haven't rested guys all year and have been far and away the best team in the league, deserve the right to rest their guys on a back to back.

And I get all that. I just don't personally agree with it. Both Booker and Ayton sat during the OKC game which was far less meaningful than a potential first round matchup with the Clippers. This could be a statement game for them, but they're sitting.

As it is how it is, there's really no point in debating it. I just hope the Clippers don't blow us out.

makes sense, load management is a lot more important in nfl than nba as injuries are much more likely

We have locked our #1 seed and set a new franchise high in wins in a season. Why would we risk injury to a key player in a meaningless game? This will give our bench more court time before the postseason to develop more chemistry and fine tune their game and shot.

Seeing that the chance for injury is the same for every game, are they going to rest them for the remainder of the regular season?

Again, just my personal opinion and nothing more. I didn't ask anyone to like it or agree.

As a die hard Suns fan, yes I hope they do until the post season. No reason to risk anything. This team is a well oiled machine. They deserve to rest up for a likely long and grueling post season.

Who’s going to be the lucky team to get an easy first round against the Bulls?

A lot of teams looked lifeless against these Celtics lately. They're playing like the spurs, not the JT & JB your turn my turn game.

It's not bad outside of the zoom. It feels like preseason with the parade of interviews though.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Doncic is straight up clowing around. He just had an insane pass to Bullock, minutes after he tried a pass through Stewarts legs and went behind the back for an ast.
He also got a gazzillion turnovers but who cares?
