Powell is back. Had 24 points in his return.

I'm taking LA. Minnesota easily has more talent but the Clips have PG who's at least good enough to win one game and Lue who's the better coach.

Powell is back, and looks great btw. Clippers get it imo and we avoid them.

Good news for Wolves is that Ant is now back to full fitness after his knee issues during Feb, March. Current Wolves team is very young and playing in such a high stakes match will be new experience for lot of the players. Interested to see how they respond. Key for Wolves will also be KAT staying out of foul trouble.

I stand corrected. Heard he was back and completely went over my head. Don't know if it changes my opinion on the result but depending on how well he's recovered could swing an already tight encounter.

I see the Clippers as a less athletic but more experienced and better coached version of the Twolves.

I really like this Twolves team but I trust Paul George in a one off game more than KAT for example.

Wolves missing the playoffs being basically 7th for most of the season would be something that would only happen to the Wolves.

It's tough with George and Norm back. I think I give the coaching nod to Lue. Clippers have more playoff experience. They have a top 10 defense (8th) while Minnesota is in the middle (13th). The Clippers aren't a great road team so that would only help Minnesota.

Minnesota works hard to create extra possessions. So if they can do that in the playoffs it will help. But Lue is pretty good at adjusting. He's got a lot of length at his disposal. And some really good shooting. Minny takes a lot of 3's though. They lead the league in attempts and makes but are only 13th in efficiency. Clippers don't take a lot of 3's (20th) but are way more efficient (3rd). But again that's mainly without George and Powell who each take a lot of 3's.

Defense typically holds up in the playoffs and since the Clippers are the better defenders, I begrudgingly take them in this one.

I’m surprised by how many people are taking the Wolves.

Clippers have been pretty quiet the last few weeks, I wouldn’t be surprised if people forgot PG and Powell are back and so far looking like they never missed a beat

I suppose if the Clippers tank the 7/8 game to face the Suns in the playoffs, they might lose to the Wolves. BUt that's a risky move because I don't think they won the series against Pelicans this season.

no team will be taking those kind of risks for a one-off elimination game. Also, why would Clippers prefer to face Suns over Grizzlies?

It would be a shame if either of these teams don’t make the playoffs. They clearly deserve it over the 9/10 seeds

at first i kinda was like oh wow, a lot of people really think the wolves are that good, huh

and they are pretty good. i think being healthy and having continuity means a lot, but a young team facing off against very experienced vets and ty lue at the helm feels like a tough ask. i favor the clips here and much of that is due to lue being as good as he is, and of course the team having two of their three most critical pieces back.

I think the Clips will disrupt the Wolves enough to get a somewhat ugly win. Just my hunch

if they tanked it would like be because they believe they can knock off the suns this time. with George and Powell i suppose it isnt crazy for them to think that
