That's quite disgusting if it's true. Even though I should not believe things without question, I find this easy to believe because we saw something similar in that game when Vogel first benched Russ. At a moment in the game when the Lakers were down, Russ went to Lebron and AD to supposedly "support them" by telling them that he wished he could help them but Vogel didn't have him playing. You could even see on Lebron and AD's faces that what he said was a WTF moment for them.

Dudes tone deaf and has the awareness of a goldfish. It’s impossible to win with him on the roster. This team just won a title with that core and all he could think about was me me me. If he’s this insufferable now he must have been unbearable in his peak and prime.

This is even worse than Melo....Melo was never this bad. Its such a shame man....I use to love Russ so much but this season has been a total turn off. While I do share disappointment that LeBron didn't do enough to make this work.....(it was never going to work with LeBron not coming off the ball and he refused to do it), Russ runs into the first head coach to actually hold him accountable for stuff and this is how he responds. I couldn't find a good clip of that moment but here's an old episode of Undisputed where they talk about it, lol.

They'll ship him to Indiana.

Hield Brogdom for frp and wb

The Lakers don't have a first to trade until 2026 without a first round pick incoming for the year. It's also going to take a hell of a lot more than a Lakers 1st round pick to get back actual value in Hield AND Brogdan with Russ coming back. Hell, a 1RP doesn't even cover taking on Russ for all but 2 or 3 teams in this league.

Guy was dealt for Kuzma, KCP, Harrell and a 1st last year and you want more than that with the year he's had? C'mon now. Both of the guys you mentioned have more individual value than Westbrook right now given contractual situation and on-court style/production.

Westbrook is the reason for the Lakers' failure of a 2021-2022 season.....I don't blame anybody else on the Lakers.

This guy still thinks he's some sort of superstar

Here's another Westbrick bonehead "all about me" moment. Just have to post it here. His team is down 3-1 and then down 29 points in game 5, but Westbrick feels the most important thing is that the Lakers "better double him". Clown.

This is the most Russ response ever. W.

Never give any PC answers, I hope other players take notes from this OG.

I think it's headed down that path as well.

Its looking like Russ tanked his own season to spite his coach, combined with already being a deteriorating talent

Westbrook has gotta be on my least favorite players to don the lakers uniform list. His self awareness is bad on and off the court. I hope this was his only season with the Lakers

Ty Lou and Eric Spolstra have had zero problem doing it with many more stars/egos than Vogel has.

Maybe the problem isnt the players....maybe its the coach.

Whats harder than coaching LeBron/Russ/AD? Probably coaching LeBron/Wade/Bosh after in their primes after they turned into Public Enemy #1 across the entire NBA. Also probably dealing with LeBrons ego, Kyries insanity and Loves emotion while going to 4 straight NBA Finals.

Cmon. Vogel just isnt a good coach for star players.

How are you going to compare a wash up Lebron and Westbrook to a prime Bosh, Wade and lebron.
