Neither one is in the playoffs and no one is talking about Love.

Coincidentally that came in a season where he played a career low mpg lol

And he was one of the best sixth man players in the league. To try to discredit what he did because he didn't play 30 minutes per game is pretty laughable.

Westbrook AND? Westbrook AND??? No reason for Cavs to even CONSIDER Love for Westbrook, without being compensated. :noway:

Westbrook could get Cavs to the playoffs if he played off the bench

Yep he is an overrated loser that can't win without Lebron. A guy totally propped up by Lebron haters to discredit Lebron's 2016 ring. Which is funny because Kevin Love was pure trash in the 2016 finals. Just absolutely awful. A net negative. Love was so bad in that series. Just pathetic.

This topic smells like bait for certain people.

He did take the Cavs to the finals which is pretty impressive.

If you knew anything about the 13-14 Timberwolves, you’d understand how stupid this thread is. The Wolves starters (led by Love) would outplay just about everyone, then have the bench come in, blow the lead, and put them behind.

Just an average bench and that’s a 50-55 win team. Love had his faults, but him and Rubio deserved better that year.

Heheh. I think we all know what he meant, but nice catch xD

Woah! A Tsherkin siting!!! Haven't seen you post in a while....

I still think his original premise of his post is absolutely insane and tinly veiled. LeBron has had the best teammates out of anyone in my NBA memory. He's played with so many All-Stars, All-NBA Guys, HOF'ers. You may be more qualified than me on this topic but when was the last guy that played with more talent throughout his career than LeBron James?

Of course I have to mention how none of LeBron's "super teammates" have done **** without LeBron outside of Wade. They have all struggled to establish themselves as the #1 option.

Love: 10 seasons, 0 playoff appearances, 0 playoff series wins
Kyrie: 8 seasons, 3 playoff appearance, 2 playoff series win
AD: 7 seasons, 2 playoff appearances, 1 playoff series win
Bosh: 9 seasons, 2 playoff appearances, 0 playoff series wins
Combined: 34 seasons, 7 playoff appearances, 3 playoff series wins

Rudy Gobert has the same number of playoff wins as those "super teammates" have combined.

That Cavs SuperTeam is so overrated, two losers in KLove and Kyrie who didnt **** without Lebron.

Kevin Love was a legit superstar in Minnesota who only had one decent player next to him in Rubio. Love has suffered several injuries since then that have drained his athletic ability. After Lebron left him in Cleveland what did Love have next to him until this season? I mean what kind of topic is this?

So could have Rubio, with less money and MUCH less baggage. Hell, they finished in the top 8 as is. I'd rather keep Westbrook's toxicity away from the young guys, and would need incentive to do it. Also, Westbrook was offended by the idea of being a 6th man for the Lakers, what makes you think he'd be ok with doing it on the "lowly" Cavs? At least Love embraced his role this year...

Lebrin stans randomly brining up Kevin Love is interesting. But remember that he played in a much tougher conference.

2013-2014 - Western conference:

Suns - 48 wins = 9th seed
Wolves - 40 wins = 10th seed

2013-2014 - Dumpster East:

Raptors - 48 wins = 3rd seed
Hawks - 38 wins = 8th seed

Feel free to make fun of him, just wanted to provide some context. In this case, it's important to note that Kevin Love played in a MUCH more competitive conference.

He's literally led his team to a better record than Lebron did in 2019 as well as this year when he had MULTIPLE HOFs on his team.

Mitch Richmond was hella good. Took the Kings to the playoffs and would have upset the sonics if he didn't get hurt.

I think prime Kevin Love would have accomplished similar to what Bosh did before joining Lebron. He was good enough to lead a team to a first round exit.

I point this out time and time again.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/l/loveke01/gamelog/2014

Look at the plus minus column. This is on a team with like ricky rubio and that russian gangster as top guys. I don't think they made the playoffs. But look at the plus minus column. Unfortunately for love he missed 5 games that year and they went 1-4 with a two point win. Honestly with that sample size it could be variance, but to me its pretty unsurprising.
