Maybe Al Horford (expiring next year) and a BOS first (so late first rounder).

Horford is more reliable and a better player at this point but next year could be his last so Boston should be looking to move on in the off season.

I think he will pull a oladipo and will never reach his peak season.

I like him. Solid, reliable, unespectacular player.

Which teams would be interested, in your opinion?

What could Indiana get for him? A lottery pick perhaps?

If he played 70+ games a year, yes, but with how much he's been injured, the value is unlikely to be high in trade, even though he's a very solid player when healthy.

Throwing both picks for Brogdan+hield for Westbrook would be the 14/10 pick for the Lakers. However i think the Cavs could offer Sexton+ pick 14 would be better

What picks of the lakers are you talking about? They have to trade 27 and 2029 picks

I think he's a perfect fit for the Cavs
I 100% agree, he fits perfect next to Garland then draft Ochai Agbaji at #14... Sheesh, Cavs finally have some good wings to start alongside their young 3!

Cavs get a combo guard that can play with DG and replace him, and a shooter, Indy dumps both contracts and get a good pick instead of a worse pick in the future, they reduce they cap significantly next year with expiring contracts only.
So that could work too, I'd offer two iterations of the trade.

1. Love and #39 plus some sorta future draft assest for Brogdon and Taylor.

2. Love, Windler, Stevens, and #14 for Brogdon, Hield, and some sorta future draft asset.

Indy just isn't a scorched earth tank team. So I assume their first preference is to get a forward back in a Brogdon trade (currently they've got an extra guard and almost nothing at SF or PF so even if they add a lotto pick forward they can get another forward in a Brogdon trade and not be too crowded).

Does Indy definitely want to move off of Hield? His contract declines each of the next two years and then he's UFA. I think the only reason they want to trade Brogdan is that he is in his last year and they know they won't re-sign him. I'm sure they WOULD move Hield but not necessarily as a throw in to just get cap space they won't use.

https://basketball.realgm.com/tradechecker/saved_trade/7546625 plus a pair of 2nd rounders from Detroit.

Brogdon is good but his age is a bit too old for rebuilding teams and his contract is a bit large for contendors in the luxury tax area compared to a full MLE type contract from a slightly lesser player. His market might not be all that big. Normal Powell provided a similar level of play and was much cheaper per year and look what he got for Portland... not much.

Not much. He's averaged playing maybe 40 games a season and his health isn't reliable, is 29 and signed for 3 more years. A Westbrook trade will eventually come up for discussion.

Kennard/Mann/Coffey for Brogdon works.

Zubac/Batum/Hartenstein
Kawhi/Morris/Batum
George/Kawhi/Morris/Batum
Powell/Brogdon/George
Brogdon/Jackson

That team is STACKED.
Go Knicks!

Brogdon is under contract until 2025.

I initially wanted Haliburton in the draft and was harsh on Obi for about half his first season, but you could see that he was going to be something just because of effort and energy. This season the advanced stats loved him, he was a net positive for most of the season before the last couple weeks, he simply needed more playing time. The last thing I want to do is see the Pacers get a lottery pick this year, acquire Obi to go with Haliburton/Duarte, he would be incredible with Haliburton, so no thanks they can keep Brogdon

I’d like to see Brogdan on the Dubs especially since we won’t be able to afford JP.

I’d rather move Morris than Kennard.

Morris is a very good 3 point shooter, but not as much of a knockdown shooter as Kennard. Also, Morris is a terrible rebounder- I’d rather re-sign Covington and trade Morris.

A concern I have about brogdon( besides his health) is that it looks like his 3 point shooting has declined substantially in recent years. I don’t watch many pacer games- is it his shot selection?
