Really are they in your head that much. Dude you should just walk away from the keyboard.

Btw that post you did on the other thread was beneath you. You should never call attack people and call them losers. Just step away

He's oddly silent with his boy getting blown out by 50 points tonight. If this was happening to Jokic, he'd be making 6 posts per minute about it.

Oddly silent? I have been posting about that game too. Jesus man, you are just making **** up.

I didn't expect that anyone would ever outmatch Duncan's MVP appearance in 2002, but here we are.

I might as well go to Sombor one of these weekends, it's a two-hour drive.

Yep as soon as he comes to GSW.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

DOPE.
Was That Michael Malone there giving Jokic a proper eastern European embrace?

I found it interesting that Jokic had to disclaim that he was joking about Shaq not winning back to back MVPs. It's like he knows Shaq has thin skin and might say a bunch of stuff to him in public and therefore had to get in front of it

There are times it seems like he is not completely confident in his translation to english, especially when joking around, so he tries to clarify it.

Definitely just seems like an incredibly down to earth horseman, as he prefers to be called. You can also see the dedication and family feel the Nuggets have with their Owner, President, Coaches, and some players flying out to Sombor to celebrate.

exactly, Jokic is a real smart dude but his English is pretty poor
I think he even struggles to follow and understand the questions sometimes, as they are in the american press style of writing a short story then blurting it out posed as a question :P

his English isn't poor nor his vocabulary is limited, I wish I could speak any Slavic language that fluently.
just it can be really tricky to deliver a joke correctly way when it's not in your native language.
I mean, 95% of the time it goes fine but you can always miss some subtle meaning and convey the wrong message.
I think mine is decent but still it happened to me a few times.

His English is actually way better than before and I think he understands everything perfectly.

I just feel he's a bit uncomfortable in front of the cameras, as his interviews in Serbian aren't much better than those for the American media outlets.

They are close when fully healthy but need more reliable defense...losing Grant/Craig seemed to make them way more vulnurble

The NBA media is kinda like one of those bad reality TV shows that want to make every episode follow the exact same script and is uncomfortable telling a real story that doesn't fit into a basic, stereotypical plotline. They want so bad for a marketable, big city star that loves the night life and has social media appeal.

If they were even halfway competent journalists they could do such a better story on Jokic than "presenting the MVP trophy to the winner in his....uh.....horse barn? lol"

As a Heat fan I should probably dislike Jokic. But you see him play and it's impossible to not at least respect him. Then you get a glimpse into Nikola Jokic the person... and I just straight up like the guy

I agree with the first part. I don't think his fanbase is any kind of special negative force though. I think every player fanbase gets the same amount of sensitive when they think their guy is being treated unfairly. Jokic and Embiid fans have been riling each other up for years now, and the kettle boiled over with this MVP race.

Player fanbases become more sensitive in direct correlation with how much a player is being attacked, especially since the attacks are unfair most of the time in sports, where hot takes culture is so prevalent, and with it being easier to tear a player down than appreciate their greatness. Jokic fanboys grow more irrate the more irrational the haters are. Exact same thing with Embiid fans/haters, Lebron fans/haters, MJ, KOBE(!), etc. etc. etc.

Jokic is the absolute man though, from everything we've been able to learn about him. He's one of the only players I regularly find myself youtubing stuff like "jokic interview" "jokic funniest moments" etc.
