Booker will NEVER live this down. It will haunt him and that game 7 meltdown haunt the Suns and Cp3 forever. It will singlehandedly have killed any illusions of Booker being an Mvp level player or superstar forever. I'll bet my life savings Booker will never sniff All Nba 1st team ever again.........

Why would Luka need to reach the final for this to age well? The Mavs losing to the Warriors doesn't change they beat a heavily favored Suns team. The Suns being happy they lost in the second round instead of the WCF is also such a loser mentality imo. I swear these kind of people would rather miss the play-offs than lose in the finals or conference finals.

Good point

They could have drafted him.

I mean its always fun to hate and he definitely laid an inexcusable egg in game 6/7 but the 'Luka Special' was just the flopping/exaggerating contact, which didnt magically change, no?

Seen a lot of suns fans lately trolling the mavs for going down 3-0…like bro, they beat your team what does that say?

Another dude who needs the ball all the time might also be problematic.

Giannis all the way.

The Luka/Booker Meme ages gracefully. Luka still destroyed the Suns in game 7, even if he lost in the next round.

It aged wonderfully, nothing changes a #1 seed getting cocky only to get absolutely humiliated on their home court & sent packing/potentially closing their championship window.

Frontrunning chucker? How so?

If luka would have been humble and not trolled booker back was the better option. I'd rather win against GS than prove something against booker. It jinxed them.

Maybe but that still limits the conversation to flopping which still has nothing to do with who wins the series, who is the better player, etc. Most players flop and I wouldnt disagree that Luka does it a lot. The outcome of the series doesn't change that about him or anyone else.

I would get it if Booker was out there guaranteeing a series win and talking about how he's better than Luka and stuff like that. But the constant citing of the 'Luka Special' comment to say why he'll 'never live down the loss' just doesnt match up. Maybe he wont live down the loss but it'd be because of his sad performances in games 6/7, not because he said Luka flops.
