It seems pretty crazy that a guy who just put up 63/40/100 (forget 50/40/90 - 60/40/100 is the new benchmark) for a TS% = .790 in the Conference Finals shows up as the 8th or 9th best player in this series in the majority of the posts.

What's even crazier is it might actually be true. Lots of depth on both teams. Both teams have some great shooters/scores, along with some great defenders. GSW has the edge in the number of great shooters/scorers, but post injury Klay isn't as nearly as good defensively as he used to be, and with Payton out, BOS has an advantage defensively. Should be a great, closely contested series. I hope it goes 7 games!

Not saying Tatum is better than Steph, its close either way. But if the majority is seeing one thing and you’re not, it’s usually for a reason. And he was by far the best player in the Nets series, stop it. Dude was first team all nba, advanced stats love him, he is one of 4 players in nba history at his age to average 25/5/5 heading into the finals. He’s been efficient, he’s been elite defensively. I’m not going to bother debating with you anymore, since you duck posts that prove you wrong. Have fun in your travels though.

to you and all the people picking green ahead of brown... do you think the warriors were actually otherworldly with kd there? because if you say that a role-player like green is ahead of jb, you're saying that in 2018, they had steph, kd, klay in his prime and green who was equivalent or better to a two-way 20 ppg scorer like brown. and all of that talent struggled mightily vs clippers or houston.

and even on his own team, do you think you can just get points elsewhere, if you just got curry and green on your team? you don't need your other 18 ppg scorers like thompson and wiggins?

People are rating Poole a lot lower than I expected.

Guy is putting up what 18.5 ppg and 4.5 aspg a game on 50/40/90. That's not easy to find in the league.

Pretty sure the Warriors could lose the defense of Wiggins more than that offense of Poole.

I just think what Poole has done this playoffs needs to be valued higher. I'd kill to have him on the Celtics team right now. He's putting up somewhat comparable offensive production as Jaylen Brown is right now as the 2nd option for the Celtics for example.

EDIT: Biggest question mark of the series is how GS defends Tatum and Brown. I assume you start with Wiggins and Thompson on them, but I think Brown will torch Thompson. Curry on Smart, Looney on Horford, Draymond on Time Lord. If Time Lord starts, Green should be able to roam pretty freely and backup Thompson on drives to the rim.

Starting Grant over Rob Williams may be the first adjustment Boston makes.

If he roams too far off of Timelord then it’s going to be lob city. There are few guys in the league better than him at catching and finishing that pass.
