One dynasty coming down, and a young and scrappy team coming up. (minus horford)

Warriors might win this series but really it's been pretty disrespectful how so many people on the GB had them cake walking to the win.

Celtics are for real.

my main take away is that if warriors can't up the defensive pressure, they are toast. boston will have better and worse streches on offense, being an unexperienced team. but surely, they can be targeted and they can be shut down. in this game though, it felt like they just did whatever and warriors simply weren't trying at times. so they better wake up or it's going to be over very soon

Man, I hope Robert Williams can get back to full speed soon. He had some good moments, but you could tell that he was struggling pretty bad out there. It's always so much more fun watching the C's play when RW is out there doing his thing.
I know Tatum had a really, really, really bad shooting night, but I was actually impressed by the maturity he showed in the other parts of his game. Just a season ago, he would have had a line more like 12 points, 1 assist, 3 rebounds. Instead of lettign his bad shooting define his night, he focused on getting others involved, and set a record for most assists for a player in their first time in the playoffs.
If the C's can actully pull this thing off, I will be so happy for Big Al. I can't remember the last time I wanted a player to win it all more than I do for him!
Regardless of what happened in this game, GS still scares the crap out of me. They have the ability to score so many points so quickly on any given night.

I will say that I know that leaving Smart/White open on their attempts was a gameplan for GS: They shot 9-15 from 3. Al Horford shooting 6-8 from 3 did not help. I am honestly despondent. I'd be laughing at that ridiculousness if this was not the Finals. Just insane luck.

If that continues, they will continue to stomp Golden State, regardless if Tatum has the worst shooting series in NBA history while Curry mops the floor with their defense.

Wasn't able to watch after Q1, but I watched the full game highlights.

I didn't see Tatum do one thing in the highlights, what happened? Was he being intentionally doubled/shut down?

Looked like Brown started the run and Horford/Smart finished it off. Amazing

Tatum was +16 with 13 assists.

His shot wasn't falling and he found other ways to contribute.

Celtics won by double digits with Tatum having one of his worst games of the season. Now they go into game 2 with house money and Tatum will likely go off. This might be a sweep.
