The league has to decide if it wasnts this series to be about the officiating, like the 2002 WC final between Sacramento and the Lakers, or about basketball.

I'd really like to see an NBA finals without Tony Brothers or Scott Foster.

Mike Breen will be back so that makes it feel like a proper Finals.

So if the Celtics win, it draws the opposite conclusion?

The off days in between games is crazy , just designed to give gsw best chance to win along with having refs on their side

Draymond won’t get away with the stuff he did in game 2. I think this game will be the lowest scoring one of the series so far.

I can’t wait though. Should be another epic battle!

I don't think he needs to, the deed is already done. Draymond is in their heads. I actually anticipate a pretty subdued game from Dray tonight (by his standards).
Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

The guy was up 3-1 and thought a sack tap was the wisest choice in a close out game, knowing he was 1 flagrant point away from a suspension... I'm not sure restraint is in his vocabulary lol

Let's go Dubs, get that Dub!

Don't be fazed by attempts to thwart your shooting advantage with mismeasured rims! Prove your superiority!

That is certainly weird

But they would switch sides at halftime anyways.. still, weird

But the point would be to calibrate at that higher height, and then have it be fixed at gametime

Reminds me of Jazz fans poisoning MJ's pizza because they knew they couldn't win legitimately.

 maybe, but the Celtics dont have Jason Kidd, so I'm more inclined to believe it was a mistake or some staffer trying to be shady than something the Celtics would actually do. If Kidd as coaching the Celtics I'd 10000000% believe he did that, because he's a human made mostly of trash

I dont know if there are rules/regs for this kinda thing, but at least back at Oracle for playoff games, rims were measured about an hour before the game, typically right before last shootaround. But you can bet the W's staff is going to be checking this going forward

serious question, what did Draymond get away with in game 2? maybe he hooked Grant Williams and fooled the refs and he chirped all game, what's new? I feel like his feet being on Jaylen Brown was the biggest mountain out of a molehill I have ever seen.
