Seems like a classic case of the truth leaking out before the player was ready to announce. Beal didn’t deny anything.

Unless the 76ers move Harris and Green for no money than it will be near impossible for them to get far enough under the tax apron to be able to do a sign and trade.

Agreed, we shall see. I don't even want Beal, but I know that Embiid wanted him over Harden, and they have the same trainer, and Morey was said to be star hunting this summer as well. Just find it amusing, that Philly wasn't listed as it was one of the places Beal was connected to.

I honestly have no clue what they're doing/building in Washington.

If the Wizards are smart, Wizards should move on from Beal

I mean I know it won't happen, but wouldn't it be funny if he opted out expecting that supermax and the Wizards were just like "nah, we'll be fine"?

Meh, that would not mean anything since another team could give him the supermax

Who says that they can't win with him. He really hasn't had a chance since Wall got hurt. The roster was trash for the most part

He's still going to make the Wizards sweat because a person can easily change their mind.

Not with a 34% 3PT% over the last 4 seasons. He shot only 30% this season. That's definitely not good enough for someone like Beal. Needs to be closer to 40%.

Klay's career AVERAGE is 41%. Boom goes the dynamite.

It smells like chapter 3 with first two Arenas and Wall
