Have Kyrie sit out or waste this year with his ongoing drama, or get first and dump a contract and just cut ties now.

Because it's better to get a 2027 1st than nothing, if we're assuming teams like Dallas and LAC aren't offering anything better.

Depending on what else Brooklyn does, he could very well be waived or bought out.

They have no choice. Heat won't take Kyrie and if the Nets want to bring in more Klutch clients they need to give LeBron more help.

Drives me nuts this is why teams continue to make stupid signings because some idiot will come around and bail them out.

nets moving kyrie and curry/harris is a bit counter intuitive to the kd rumors looking for all star level players right now.

Feel like we said the same exact thing a little over a year ago about Durant, Harden and Kyrie.

The NBA is hilarious.

Or theyre trading an expiring they dont want to keep and who doesnt want to be there for an expiring and a 1st from the only team making an offer for the most toxic personality in the league.

What do you want the Nets to do. Sit on him so the Lakers dont get better? They dgaf about the Lakers

That is no longer the worst contract in the league.

Westbrook isn't the worst contract in the league anymore. Get up to date, bro.

Watch the lakers get Seth curry on a bargain deal, that would be hilarious. Klutch runs the league

I don’t think you understand how “worst contract” in the league works and I don’t think you know what “take on” means.

The nets will likely come out of this breaking even on salary for this year and way better after this year if they attach a bad multi year deal.

If Lakers are able to swap Westbrook/Davis for Kyrie/Durant, I would be shocked. Kyrie/LeBron/Durant is insane. Especially if LeBron can reign in Kyrie.

Westbrook’s contract is an asset as it’s an expiring, especially for a team looking to regroup after its stars asked to be traded.

Dumping salaries while getting 2 possibly juicy picks…..not great, but the Nets don’t have much leverage due to Kyrie being in the last year of his deal.
