Phoenix, Miami and Philly are the obvious ones, but he’d be intriguing in Denver. He’d be able to age gracefully playing with Jokic.

Boston should also trade Brown for him, but they’ll sit on their hands

its OKC , bring KD home.... he'll be able to focus and wouldnt twitter finger burner account so much anymore
they have 1st round picks to spare & can send out chet or bazely or giddy or some combination of 2 of the 3 for the young talent requirement

I am thinking the same about Denver, where else he can play all 4 remaining years with a MVP caliber player that is under contract for all those 4 years too. While he eventually declines jokic will still be in his prime aswell as murray/gordon so he doesnt need to be the main guy.

The problem for the nets is MPJ health and contract. He would be a perfect fit next to simmons but there is a big risk in two of them missing bunch of games while making 60+mil

MPJ + hyland +barton +picks and swaps for Durant

Murray/KCP/Gordon/Durant/Jokic would be crazy

We can't trade Simons until 6 months pass you can't trade a re-signed player immediately.

What? The east right now looks to be stronger than the west. It would increase the value of picks potentially.

Tobias Harris, Matisse Thybulle, Tyrese Maxey plus picks and swaps for Kevin Durant.

It works in the trade machine. 76ers time is now. The Process is over.

If they aren't asking for picks on top of that...76ers should consider that. If they want picks the 76ers should run. That said, I'm not sure that's wise either. You just can't gut your roster and depth. The 76ers have to hope Harden comes back to at least 3rd team all nba form and if he does. I'd rather have him and Embiid with depth than to top load a team with 2 guys in their mid 30's and Embiid.

6 of their top 8 guys were 26 or under. Sure CP3 is their best player, but man....do you REALLY want to blow up what could be at worst a dark horse contender for the next 5 years to have a 1-2 year window with CP3 and KD?

Philly to be honest. Tobias and Maxey and a bunch of picks. You have Embiid in his prime, Harden, PJ Tucker, Danuel House, KD is an obvious fit with all of these guys. I'd argue this line-up is better than the Warriors Hamptons 5/Death Line-up

Considering they don't have their own picks and they're probably not going to get an equal return the Nets should do everything in their power to get Irving and Durant fully on board for another season. If they, along with Simmons, can somehow stay healthy and non toxic and at a minimum make real noise in the play-offs it would be help erase some of the stink.

You said non toxic with a Ben Simmons Kyrie Irving locker room? Lol

The Nets have the talent.

If everyone buys in and plays hard they should be contenders.

I keep telling people but don't be surprised if Kyrie/KD/Ben and the Nets actually look good and Kyrie and KD say they'll "look at or analyze things once the season is over". If they're clicking and high in the standings I think this comes to a grinding halt temporarily.

Making your own conference stronger while you have a solid team is a dumb move. Even if they move Irving and Durant they will get solid pieces back to make nice 2nd round push with Simmons. Even better if they are lucky and get the right pieces.

I don't understand the Portland proposals. Simons put it together for just 1 season. If BKN really wants win-now talent + picks, I dont' think Portland has what it takes.

If I'm NOP, I take a swing. They can offer the closest to what BKN wants without gutting their roster

Ingram + take your pick young roster player(s) + NOP / LAL picks

It's probably a good thing I'm not a GM, but I am thinking folks are vastly overrating KD at this point in his career.

I don’t think either team should, but NOP and GSW are the only teams that have enough assets to meet BK’s asking price and still have a contending team around KD.

Nets won't be that good if the trade KD and this whole "own conference" stuff is just silly. Get the best value, period!
