Championship hangover are thing. Should be fun though.

 Lebron James vs Curry.

I prefer to watch playoff teams at least lol

Warriors get the Lakers on the only day the Lakers will be healthy.

If the lakers manage to get Kyrie it will be game on but as currently constructed it’ll be a blow out

NBA is desperate to try keep LeBron relevant. There are no other player able to take up his mantle apart of maybe doncic and him being European automatically means not as popular for Americans.

Eh maybe not. Are warriors better than LeBron driven team? Absolutely. But this is also the first game of the season and Westbrook has always been solid defender of Curry capable of shutting him down. Neither of these team showed last season any kind of stable success but they were very much up and down. Combine with the fact that Lakers have a new coach they might come out guns firing on the first game even if they end up being yet again another mediocre LeBron Lakers team. Oh and almost forgot Day to Davis. He should be healthy which won't be the case rest of the season after first few weeks..

Edit. As someone mentioned warriors also have ring night so their minds are somewhere else.

No wants to watch the Lakers? You're joking right? That is precisely why they are the opener.

The combo of Curry/LeBron is still the top draw

Lebron literally have not won an opening night game since 2017. Lakers haven’t won an opening night game since 2016.

Picking them to lose opening night is the easiest money I ever make once per year.

I got 8 And 1's vs a few negative comments from Laker fans... my comment would still be a positive lol.

The defending champion doesn't always play a good team in their first game...Warriors have played the Pelicans and so have the Raptors.

Grizz-Warriors is the money game. I feel nothing for the Lakers-Mavs. Discuss.

Honestly, I am not impressed, I think Bucks-Celtics and Grizzles-Warriors will be good games, the rest not so much, they could have done better

Last year, the Knicks had 29 nationally televised games. That means people were forced to watch Julius Randle play 29 times...

The NBA appears to continue its pattern on mocking their fans by giving us yet another Knicks game (1 more Julius Randle game) on Christmas day. Have they no shame?

Suns vs. Nuggets (with a hopefully healthy roster) is what I'm looking forward to.

All about tradition. Knicks should always play on Christmas like the Lions should always play on Thanksgiving...
