This list is laughably bad, it's like they didn't even try. No point in even trying to fix it

ESPN does this just to draw up controversy and have something to talk about for a week

The CBS list feels to me like its far more accurate, and much more effort was put into it. You can quibble a little with any list of course, but there's a lot less in there than the ESPN, which almost seems like they do on purpose in order to rile people up and increase debate and engagement, which is sorts their MO in general.

Read on Twitter

Holy ****. It gets even worse. How in the world do you not have Jimmy top 10? What’s even worse is how the hell do you see what he did last year and in the playoffs and come to the conclusion players like Harden, PG, Trae, and Towns are better?

Cavs with the 2 lowest ranked All-Stars from last year lol. 46th and 52nd after making an ASG of the top 26 players in the league at 21 and 23 years old. Make it make sense.

I love this list. Not because of accuracy, but because so many seem to loathe it.

I will now reference it on a consistent basis, in all of my arguments concerning players.

I would put Horford much higher than 70. Great basketball IQ.

Legitimately one of the worst lists I've ever seen in my life. There are too many glaring examples to even list.

There are not 16 players I'd rather have than Jimmy Butler in a NBA Finals game.
Not Harden or Towns, that's for sure.
He had 4 40 +point games last season in the playoffs.

and Mitchell averages more PPG in the playoffs than all those guys.
Only 3 guys in the top 10 (doncic, KD and bron) average more than him in the playoffs.....

a healthy Kawhi Leonard is argubly the best player in the NBA still....

Celtics somehow have 7 players in the top 100. Easy title favourites right?

Minnesota is the only team with 3 players in the top 25.

Harden at #11 has no justification. I'd rather have a handful of the guys in the 40s than him. (But I'm pretty low on him.)

I think both lists are really bad. You have the back 2 back MVP not even in the top 3 in the CBS list. That right there makes it an embarrassing list.

I love Anthony Edwards but 25 is a bit premature.
