You're going to see things the way you're going to see them, just like I choose to see as Kobe telling the Lakers to do better at getting him help or trade him. So they did and that's that. The man had a no trade clause in his contract which he used to block some possible trades out. So clearly he didn't just want out of the Lakers, and when it comes down to it. They improved and won.

Harden on the other hand has had multiple great teammates and just can not win period so like I said before, I'm glad he hasn't won anything.

Harden-KD-Kyrie and supporting cast was an absolute badass, championship roster.

Did he actually call himself a superstar? There's your first problem.

This thank you. it was the same in Houston. They were rebuilding, Morey was gone as well as D'Antoni. People acting like he needed to be there with such a **** owner is BS.

The NBA agent/player management PR playbook of “never ever take responsibility for anything” might be the most annoying sh*t in the league.

Yes that makes him the quitter. He wanted out during the season and started to half a**. Did the same in Houston. At least KD wanted out during the offseason and he is playing now.

Harden sounds pretty clueless here. He forces a trade to a team where the incumbent stars he wanted to play with got one coached replaced by another because they wanted a partnership rather than an authority figure and then complains about lack of structure. Also completely ignoring that he easily could have stepped up and filled that leadership void himself. KD and Harden are the same. They want the benefits of superstardom but none of the responsibility.

What's obvious no matter how you feel about Harden or Durant is that Steve Nash wasn't qualified to be a head coach and his inexperience contributed to many of the issues they had.

He should have started as an assistant and worked his way into knowing what he was doing. Kidd made the same mistake, but was made better by his time with the Lakers. No slight to Nash, but the lack of structure and espeically not practicing defense is something he probably picked up during his time with the Suns, and that doesn't work for everyone.

This is utterly wrong mate. Kobe wanted out but wanted to lakers to get fleeced in the process so he could join a stacked team. Specifically, for example, he tried to force his way to the bulls and he prevented the lakers from Getting Deng (who was a prized commodity at the time) so that he could play with him on the bulls but the lakers didn’t succumb to such tactics.

I don't mean to, like, just down talk to anybody or whatever. It was just, there was no structure and even superstars, they need structure.

This part really stands out to me because that was the same impression I had of the Nets as well. It always felt like the team wasn't well put together and they had no real sense of what they wanted to do. They just thought to themselves "alright, we got our big three, we're all set guys", but they didn't actually understand what they had really done and what they had. It feels like they just kind of assumed that since they had three superstars, everything would work out on its own regardless of how the rest of the team was put together and who was coaching it. That's not how it works.

Brooklyn has looked so much better since letting Steve Nash go, which I've always felt was their biggest problem. Part of me still can't help but laugh at them, because in the end I know this is all going to blow up spectacularly on them... but screw it, I can't deny that getting rid of Nash was the right call and they're benefiting greatly from it. Kudos to them. I enjoy seeing teams benefit from making legitimately smart moves.
