Steph does not deserve to be a starter over SGA, who has thoroughly outplayed him this season. Zion missed 40% of his team's games. Sabonis and Markannen were a bit more deserving.
The fact that the Celtics don't get two starters, but the Nets do, is kind of embarrassing. Brown > Kyrie and Haliburton > Kyrie as well. Embiid should be a starter.
Again, they all deserve to be all-stars, but not starters.
No, SGA really hasn't lol. You can make his case, but to say "thoroughly" is a joke of a statement. Steph is averaging 29/6/6 on 49/42/92 (66% TS) and has the better EPM/BPM/TS. Plus, the AS game is for the fans, who voted him first among guards. The players and media also disagreed with your take. Next up would have been Ja over SGA, for what it's worth.
No surprises on the ballot as a whole. KD will be replaced by Embiid as a starter, and Zion by AD if he plays. The only poor choice on the starters list is Kyrie, but it's not surprising as his popularity is still huge.
