Ben Simmons lacks something major in my opinion....He seriously lacks anger..Dude is just pitying himself at this point instead of absorbing all this crap and just going all out.

Like where the **** is the anger dude? You gonna let Niang talk smack....Might as well retire after the conract expires.

I m sure no GM would want him after the contract expires and he's a free agent..

Last season? I mean...yea. Simmons didn't play a game for you. Simmons is getting the blame for everything now and its reaching a ridiculous point. That stupid layup wasn't the reason you lost the series. You threw away a big lead to begin with. Move on.

Probably. Which is crazy. Dont think i've ever seen a player be this mentally destroyed.

How dare a role player take a shot at another role player.

Like dude if i was a player and i listened to a clearly inferior talent talk smack to me i'd go bonkers on him next time we faced.

And Yes NIANG is clearly an inferior talent to Simmons. It's all mental with Ben.

Patty Mills (among others) was taking shots at Harden when he left for the unprofessional way he behaved and the toxicity he created in the locker room.

That's more telling given what we know about Mills' character.

This Niang guy seems like a tool.

Watching Simmons now it's clear that the guy has significant problems that have yet to be fixed. He's no who he was in the 20-21 season. It's sad really.

It's just so easy to take shots at a guy who can't shoot back.

He's a tool for telling the truth?

That "Niang guy" has more heart than Ben ever had

Ben Simmons is nothing more than a compulsive liar and people like you are still falling for it. It's quite comical at this point

Ya, its not always mental illness. Some people are just lazy, get complacent, stop loving what they do, would rather play video games, chase IG models, club, etc.

I just pity him at this point. I don't think I've ever seen a case like this where a playoff series ruined a guy projected to be a franchise player's psyche so much to the point that people expect him to be out of the league before he's in his prime.

He's lying? How did he go from 20-21 to now from an on-court perspective?

Why do you think he's so much worse? How is he lying? It's not something he can lie about.

Niang has no heart, that's the point

He's been doing that since day 1. He managed to be all NBA, all star, 1st team defense. Been the same guy for 5 seasons, then has a breakdown and is struggling to recover.

Can't fake this. Unless you think he's got worse so Nets trade him to LA for cheap or something?

handicap

as in a disruption of normalcy
the reality of providing assistance to an adverse circumstance
a hindrance to the development of the team in order to implement a work around for the anomaly, especially when said anomaly is perceived as a unique all star talent because he's then given a longer leash at the team's expense

the result is things grind to a halt while the team waits

HELLZYEAH

Niang is in the NBA in part because of his shooting, but mostly because he is just the best teammate EVER. So, speaks to where Simmons was at.

Simmons is doing way more harm than Niang does, with not only the media circus distraction, and his 35 million a year sitting duck

Look Simmons sucks.

But what exactly did they do last season without him? Lost in the 2nd round?

They actually came closer to making the ECF with him.

A lot of excuses for why the Sixers never win.

6'10 and 6'11 wingspan and you're afraid to drive on guys 6,7, or 8 inches shorter than you. Ben Simmons probably drives guys like Isaiah Thomas crazy.

They made him the scapegoat for everything...

I would t be surprised if they blame him again this year when the Tri-Force of choke activates and they get bounced early

What if we don't?

What are you going to do about it?

I think it's more so that everyone here knows he will certainly be used as a scapegoat, even this year, after Embiid has his annual fail-to-deliver performance in the playoffs. Something along the lines of how Simmons wasted his "true" prime years and all that.
