They're still way ahead of schedule but last night showed me pretty clearly who should be the best player of the team and its Mobley. He's slowly starting to put it together offensively and if it were up to me he would be the focal point. The issue going forward is between Mitchell and Garland who's going to give up more shots for Mobley.

I caught the last quarter of the game and Mitchell was a huge, huge ballhog. You have 4 guys willing to share the ball and one guy ignoring the rest of the team.
If every team he plays is going to have to die or live by him at the end of games, it makes no difference how good the team is.

He's like Kyrie in that regard, imo.

It is his job on the team. He can defer to Garland or someone else if he so chooses, but everyone expects him to close games.

This is news to me. Everyone I know IRL is loving the trade and the realcavfans forum have been over the moon with his production and Alpha status. The only game I blame on him for a lost is the Knicks game were he turned it over like 3 times in last 2 mins, but I'll give him a pass because he was playing hurt and then reinjured himself on the last play. Now JBB is a different story completely, dude needs to fired like yesterday.

Thing is, they need the takeover type of game from Mitchell come playoffs, so this is all stilll premature. Boston and Milwaukee are better on stopping stars though so he might get blamed in the postseason again
If there is no basketball in heaven, i am not going.

They really need positive affirmation they did well out of the trade. "We're really happy with Lauri" should be the fanbase slogan.

Bickerstaff is one of the better coaches in the league.

Good job getting the low IQ buzzword in.

I mean, he ballhogged many straight possessions, with early shots, etc. It was ugly.
But anyway, I'm sure the fanbase is still happy to have an alpha playing for the Cavs again. I'm sure you're willing to be very, very patient with him. Hope it works out.

Umm he really is not. That moron literally cant even draw up a successful out of bounds play after a timeout let alone an offensive scheme.. He has totally bizarre rotations, does petty $h1t like plays favs with certain players, and throws others in the doghouse for weeks at a time wins be damned. Has terrible uses of timeouts like the lack of using them even if it a late game inbounds 5-second call and challenges. Dude has no accountability and constantly deflects blame using our puff piece local media. And problem number one is our supposedly number 1 defense is schemed in way that actively wants the opponents to shoot wide open three's. In his own words "don't worry about the guys on the perimeter". He literally is our Marc Jackson where the players will eventually grow tired of his yelling, bitching, and preaching and tune him out. I wonder after we get swept in the first round will the Cavs have the balls to fire this guy to get our Steve Kerr.

I'm going to lock this. The discussion is fine but we get enough hot takes from RGM users without importing hot takes from random twitter users. It just sets a bad precedent for what is worthy of a thread.
