Feel like I've only heard about westbrook doing that

As far as I know it only happened once and those fans allegedly said something pretty awful.

Fans telling LeBron in his face that they wish Bronny die in a car accident or something. Let's follow the lead of the OP and also blame LeBron why some horrible fans wanted his kid dead.

This will be my first and last post. I've been visiting this board for 10 years now.

To the OP and your likes: enough with the bull. Just say "i hate LeBron and will do everything to make him look bad."

The lengths you losers will go to.

A lot of people aren't going to watch when he retires. He's the reason they watch. Just like with MJ.

It’s more likely we see a the late-90s - early 2000’s yit show where a lot of good but not great and great but not goat players were heralded as the next Michael Jordan.

Power vacuums are rarely good things. Like we got Shaq and Kobe and that was fun.

But, Grant Hill, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, Herald Miner, Jerry Stackhouse, etc. Appreciate the game we have and look forward to the next evolution.

Weird take to think a single player retiring will make the sport better.

Part of why the league is better now and probably in the future is that hopefully both the media and players learned that putting too much pressure on the young 'future face of the league' to win rings from day 1 isn't good for them or the league because then they feel like if they haven't won one by the end of their first contract that they definitely need to go to a team where winning one seems assured. I think Giannis, Luka and others maybe have benefited from LeBron having all that pressure and then seeing the blowback that he got for going to Miami and then KD taking it to another level with the Warriors. So you can blame LeBron for starting it(even if you want to overlook how much of a superteam the Celtics were) but in the long term it was good for the league to go through it and get to where we are now where the top 4-5 players aren't trying to form new teams with other top 15 players.

To me LeBron's attitude towards Morey's comments on Hong Kong changed my view about him. From that point on he is just an top athlete to me, nothing more and nothing less. I couldn't give less of a F on what he says off the court, or about anything non-basketball really.

I don't think NBA will be a better place without him, if everyone can just ignore all the non-irrelevant stuff LeBron is promoting. No hate, just ignore him.

I dislike how Lebron plays the game and his mercenary approach to his career but with all the sideshow aspects of his career, Lebron is still the #1 draw in the NBA. None of the other stars in the NBA have the charisma to carry the NBA the way Lebron, Kobe, and Jordan have done.....
I'm so tired of the typical......

I think a lot of people will miss LeBron when he's actually gone.

Nah he is a great player who is fun to watch. His antics aren't really that serious for the most part. The only thing I really have ever been upset about Lebron was the China stuff, but that is capitalism. Tons of businesses suck up to China to profit off their giant population.

And even if you hate Lebron and think he is the devil, well guess what? Having players you hate makes the game more fun too. It is more entertaining to turn on a game and have a guy you really want to see lose. My problem is Kawhi is the guy I hate the most and he usually sits out, so it makes hate watching harder.

The NBA needs more Giannis types and less LeBron types. What say yawl?

You’re dumb, the nba grew like crazy under bron. The game is the best it’s ever been, it’s you. Your definition of the nba is stuck in some bygone time

I believe the infamous “crab dribble” moment changed how traveling is called. At the time he did it, more people believed it was a travel than not. Instead of admitting it was a travel, LeBron insisted it was the refs who were wrong. He then continued to do it, and of course the league isn’t going to continue calling travel on their young cash cow, so the rule was reinterpreted. Soon others were doing it too.

and you don’t like people doing it? What’s your angle here? if everyone’s doing it then who cares, it becomes part of the game.

I think some people start to believe the fantasies they’ve made up to justify why they feel a certain way.

I dont think the game is the best its ever been, maybe for you, but not everybody. The 80s Celtics/Lakers rivalry is i think the best the nba has ever been. Never seen a rivalry as great as that with two legends like Bird and Magic.

I think it's great right now. ESPN is the only thing who seems to think the playoffs and league is in trouble without LeBron and the Lakers. It's just fine.
