Yup. I had them winning that game but losing in the next round. I doubt many had them past the Sweet 16.

Final 4 here  Like I said, they are unpredictable...they either lose in the first round, or go deep, there's really no in between with them in recent years.

Yeah that sucks. I mean nothing wrong with taking a gamble like that though. In many pools those who have that foresight have a huge advantage over the rest who just play it safe.

Like in ours we have someone who has Gonzaga winning it all. I don't think it'll happen, but not many have them making the Final 4 at all so if they do she is well ahead of the rest of us.

Just wild. Total head-scratcher. He’s a 4 year starter and typically a heady PG. To throw that pass there was beyond dumb. He had to have thought there was only a couple seconds remaining or something. Idk. Feel bad for the kid though. 4-year career coming to an end like that is rough.

It’s actually even crazier than that, he’s not a 4 year career and starter, he’s actually a 5 year starter for Virginia. He’s a 2x All ACC and was on the championship team. Literally as experienced as you can possibly get in college.

But ya I agree, I’m pretty sure he thought to throw it up and time would run out. But even then, dude you got yourself a timeout, use it.

March Madness for a reason haha.

How much will Bill Self's health issues affect the team? Sounds like he's hoping to be back at some point, but if he misses multiple games, how much does that impact them?

2 NCAA games and 1 Euro game I watched today already, and I swear, NCAA ''timeout'' feels almost as long as Euro halftime. You guys have got it SO bad over there over the pond, they were increasing and increasing ad time and now you cooked alive.

Nice to see Oumar Ballo tho, I havent seen him in years now, made a thread for him on draft board when he was 16

Whelp, and my ride ends here. Wow, what a low IQ players even good NCAA teams still have, 15 then 8 seconds left on a clock and they already shooting fadeaway contested 3 to save a game, Krissa was always an absolute scrub, how is he a starter in college. Oh well, not like I really care, I will take undrafted Azuolas on some LKL or ACB team.

We didn’t have the guards. Pitiful performance. At least now I can watch the rest of the games in peace and not worry :)

I used to love college ball, but I just can't do it anymore. It's just such bad basketball. It's so painful to watch.

There is one thing you should know about Arizona fans. Our mantra is “there’s always next year”

This isn’t even a top 3 tourney loss for us

What's your top 3?

1. Illinois 2005
2. Santa Clara 1993
3. Buffalo 2018

There are others which felt worse including Wisconsin in the elite 8 in 2014 (we lost to them in the elite 8 the next year also btw)

Yeah, Illinois for me was easily the worst...blew like a 10 pt lead in the last 4 minutes. I remember Santa Clara well. Steve Nash was on that team. Shot 14% though in that game.

The Wisconsin losses sucked hard too since they were so close..and in b2b years. Buffalo almost wasn't that bad because it was never that close. It was a horrible loss but it wasn't like a gut punch or heart wrenching squirm in your seat type of loss. This team this doesn't have any big name players on it either.

I had them losing in the 2nd round of my bracket so at least I didn't have them going very far.

They were the #1 team in the country all year too and I think had only 1 loss...much like Kansas in 97. They also had Deron Williams. Amazing to think he was drafted the same year as Chris Paul...seems like he's been done for nearly a decade.
