For Disney, there are only the big market teams, everyone else is trash. Still, you'd think as your job, you'd be more familiar with Jokic, even just onscreen. These people sound like complete **** idiots and it just hurts my ears listening to them.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

nope, she was very clear about her not knowing he was that good
you don't need to watch him in person to know how good he is
she also says "10 years", she literally has no clue how long this dude has been in Denver
but this is America (no offense guys), the land where most ppl don't even know very basic geography of anywhere that's outside the states
when I say basic I mean stuff like - is Asia or Europe a country or a continent or whatever and where it's located on the world map

you actually think ESPN hires people that watch basketball? that's far down the list of reasons why someone is hired to do one of these shows.

and JJ Redick who voted for Giannis and is now doing podcasts on why the Joker is the best basketball player in the world. go figure..

The Nuggets cants win the WCF, the NBA ratings for a Nuggets/Heat series would be a disaster. Casuals do not care about Jokic

I have never listened to JJ, but I heard he is fine. And to defend him, best player and MVP is not the same thing. I mean has anyone believed Nash or ROse were ever best players in the NBA? Valuability also depends on team fit and everything else. Put prime Nash with 4 Mathise Thybules and he would suck, I mean he wouldnt suck, but he wouldnt be nearly as valuable at all.

ESPN/ABC would have no one to blame but themselves. Just think if they actually gave Jokic the same kind of coverage that other stars get. Maybe casuals would be more familiar with Jokic and be more inclined to tune in and watch him.
But when you got ESPN personalities that their job is to cover NBA games flat out admitting this is the first time they're actually watching him. Ya thats on ESPN. Jokic should be a very easy sell by now for the casual audience.

Re: Lisa Salters impressed by Jokic
On another note, not that I took Lisa Salters very seriously, or even knew who she was really, but how could anyone take her seriously at her job now? I mean, your job literally is covering the NBA. And you've never watched the previous 2 time MVP play?
Like this kinda reminds me of the incident where a reporter in Salt Lake City was doing random interviews with people at a mall asking if they're going to go to Jazz games, and the reporter interviews Jordan Clarkson without knowing it (which he handled with total class). Lots of people were bashing her for not knowing who he was, but it wasn't like she was a sports reporter or anything.
This lady supposedly covers the NBA for a living.

- Covers the NBA.
- Has never seen Jokic, a 2-time MVP, play prior to Tuesday.
- Works for ESPN
sounds about right.

That's USA sports lamestream media for ya . You have the woman who's job is specialized for covering NBA and she never watched one of the biggest stars in the league until a few days ago, it is a clown show.
