Not sure why people are saying franchise mode (MyGM) hasn't gotten any better when since last year they started adding different eras and now they're adding the Lebron era (2011 teams). 2K has actually done a lot of work on this mode and they deserve props for it.

College football comes back next year. I haven't heard anything on a college basketball game though.

I'm only buying it cause it might be the last time maybe for a while that my favorite player will be on the cover. Otherwise, the 2K franchise has sucked and the last one I bought was 2K20.

probably not. I just grabbed 2k23 when it was a playstation plus game, yet havent played it. I dont make much time for basketball games anymore. Only reason I played 2k18 alot back then was because of Allstar team up, but now thats changed it to make you have to play with a friend to access it, and im not a fan of that other mode thats similar.

And people will complain year to year about how bad the game is.

All it takes is the majority of 2k fans to stop buying the game for a year or two to send a message. I guarantee if 2k sales drop over 50% for a year or two, we would see massive improvement in the game.

All sports games should only have new games come out like every 4-5 years. Then the years in between they release roster updates for like 9.99 or something. But as long as the majority of people continue to spend $70+ on a roster update (which is essentially what it is with the new games right now). It gives sports games zero incentive to improve their games.

If Wembanyama is as unique as they say, 2k24 will be the most important game to buy since 2k19 (Zion's first game).
I wonder if they made 2k19 specifically for Zion, because I noticed 2k19 had completely different ball reactions to all the other games, because when you steal the ball in 2k19 it doesn't go into your hands but instead it bounces away and often rolls up the court to help you get fastbreaks which gives Zion more chances to get dunks....

Exactly.. it’s not lol at anyone that pays full price for the game, it’s lol at anyone that buys the same copy/paste game every year after year after year. On page 1 someone said he/she gonna buy it like always, but annoyed cause it’s the same trash every year along with the micro transactions .. umm so don’t buy it?

There’s gotta be alotta people like that who know it’s the same trash game and complain about the micro trans, but still buy it.. then you got people like op who’ll buy it because they mightily impressed by roster updates and a “new feature” when really there’s nada new about it.. then you got the parents buying it for they kids who I’m guessing makes up the majority of the sales? If 2/3 of these groups (*bonus group* someone actually said they buying the game cause they fav players on the cover WTF smh) of suckers don’t buy maybe the game will actually make some improvements

Once they started doing micro transactions the game should’ve been free .. every sports game should be free cause of that bs and now 2k tryna charge you for game modes? Gtfoh.. aren’t they even hyping the game up for crossplay.. who tf cares.. every year they hide behind they player rating reveals on Twitter cause they literally got nothing. Its beyond crazy.. truly bizarre how people are so sheepish when it comes to this game it feels like a twilight zone episode..
