This is honestly a much more fair comparison than Embiid Jokic

Classy post Aleksander.

He's been key to the Wolves this entire playoff run.

I saw a bunch of posts earlier stating how one cannot trust Towns, hence they had Denver winning.

Both Towns and Gobert have been wearing unfair narratives for a long time, and I’m happy both of them are flipping the script.

Man...G1 was a great close game and G4 was also a good one. G5 was a comfortable win for Nuggets but it also had one of the best performances of all time from Jokic. And Wolves defense in G2 was amazing story. On the whole, lot of memorable games in this series

I said this on the game thread:

"Wow! Congrats Minny!
Final score 98-90 ('90s, early '00s like score, defensive struggle).

First WCF for TWolves since 2004 (lost to Lakers 4-2). The KG/Wally/Cassell teams.

Congrats to defending champs Nuggets, tuff to repeat. Strengthen the bench next season."

The media is full of morons. Franchise is arguably the losingest in the NBA's history and they want them to keep losing. Thank God this team doesn't feed into that narrative. Go out and win the chip.

Happy for Wolves fans. They seem like a classy bunch
And are a long suffering fan base

Hopefully we can have a thread for them that doesn’t derail into more Jokic hating nonsense but idiocy comes easy for many so I won’t hold out hope.

Minnesota and Boston would make one hell of a Finals matchup.

Like, I understand what they are trying to get at. But I don't think they have said that for Indiana's run and they probably wouldn't be saying it for OKC had they beaten Dallas.

Both of those teams missed the playoffs three straight years before this and Minnesota has been in the playoffs in three straight years now.
