Wasn't it said that no one but Lebron could go to the finals with Kyrie as their #2......

#2 option

Kobe became Batman eventually (won 2 rings without Cactus)
Never really considered him a Robin tbh.
Legendary player.
He was a huge Robin in 00-02. Shaq could have won 3 titles with Ray Allen instead of him. Better fit for one thing.
Kobe's record in games without Shaq from 99-07 is 135-137. From 99-04 it was 23-26. Kobe was not a floor raiser on those teams. Once the Lakers had the best supporting cast in the league he won some titles, but his impact compares poorly to real top 20 players like Giannis, Luka, KD, Jokic, D.Rob, Nash, etc.

He was the reason Cleveland got a ring. He’ll be the reason why Dallas gets one too.

No way does The Lakers win the 2010 chip without Kobe. He torched us in game 7 of that series (which I still have nightmares of)
And he didn't have exactly a great supporting cast there either really, aside from Gasol.
Kobe was rightfully revered by Lakers fans and the late Bill Russell.
I don't think he is the greatest Laker of all time (that's Kareem) but he is up there with Magic for the 2nd goat Laker (can't really split them)

Oh brother people like this shouldn’t be allowed to post. Kobe won more without Shaq. Shaq played with Wade, penny, nash, Lebron outside of Kobe. Just stupid to say “insert this player and they still win” like how dumb can you be. The same numbers Kobe put up in 01 and 02 are the same numbers he put up when he was back 2 back finals mvp but he was a “huge Robin” like just stupid logic. Clown behavior.

Lol
Remove LeBron and Luka from those teams and replace them with Paul George/Jimmy Butler... Does Kyrie Win

Luka hasn’t won’t without Kyrie yet and hasn’t even sniffed playoff success.
For Lebron - I Don’t know, but-
2015- no Kyrie and they lost
2016 - Kyrie comfortably outplays Curry and hits the shot of the decade
2017- Kyrie needed Lebron to outplay KD; just didn’t happen
2018 - swept without Kyrie and forced to the Western Conference.

He literally won less without Shaq, so that's factually untrue.

Just going to leave out the fact he made the Finals again without Kyrie in 2018 lol. Or that Luka was just in the conference finals 2 years ago. And your 2017 "analysis" would make even Skip Bayless blush.
