It’s Messi vs Ronaldo but thank god Messi’s WC rightfully killed that debate forever.

Seems like all facts that the OP mentioned.

Trust me, it's ok to be open minded, and not use "troll". The OP had stated what are facts for the most part, followed by his opinion that Lebrons not top 10.

Failing to realize this and just typing troll makes you look a certain way JustBuzzin.

I had the pleasure of watching Lebrons journey since his high school days and the pleasure wore off quickly.

How is he dominating? Stats?

LeBron is top 2 all time. It's hard to discredit a guy for not winning titles when you look at some of the teams he had to face. MJ never played a team at the caliber of the Durant Warriors.

Could he have one or two more titles? Sure I guess. His longevity is absolutely unprecedented and one of the reasons he may have to put at #1 all time. And I'm a huge Jordan guy.

I can't imagine saying pshhh stats?? We just gonna talk about his stats? C'mon what do stats prove??

Uh...his stats provided him with like 10 championship opportunities a few of which he had no business being there but he dragged his team there anyway.

I think you should take your own advice on this one...

Fails in Cleveland for 7 years then colludes to create a super team just to win 2 titles and one of them by being completely saved by Ray Allen. Claims at least 8 titles and delivers on 2. And barely at that.

This is a very dishonest portion. Yes, he did not win in Cleveland, but who would? That team was poorly run.

Saved by Ray Allen is also a bit dishonest. Miami was down double digits going into the 4th quarter of game 6. LeBron scored 14 in the 4th, while Wade and Bosh were on the bench. Then dominated game 7... while Ray scored 0. 100% saved man!

Then goes back to Cleveland and gets saved by Kyrie Irving for another title.

Again, just because someone masks a post with 2 facts, doesn't mean the whole sentence is true. Yes he went back to Cleveland... and yes he won another titled. But saved? How so? LeBron wins FMVP. The block and the FT to seal the game. Dishonest.

Then goes to LA to win a Mickey Mouse exhibition title and has his company relentlessly promote him as the greatest player of all time.

I'm sure you would have this same view if your team won the 2020 ring.

20 years in the NBA and this guy has no go to move except to complain to the refs.

"no go to move" and still is the all time leading scorer. Wow, sick fact.

And his biggest achievement of all. Getting completely humiliated and embarrassed by bench warmer Jason Terry and 5 foot 8 inches tall JJ Barea on the underdog Dallas Mavericks in the 2011 NBA finals where he FAILED harder than any superstar in sports history.

You can honestly read this and go "yeah this posts is facts!"?. Of course, his biggest acievement is losing in 2011.

Without making this an entire page of text.... I don't see how you can honestly say that this post is just fact ridden without noticing how covered in trash it really is. Horrible

In 2008-2009 Cleveland had the best record in the NBA and lebron was the mvp

In the next season they were predicted by odds makers to he the second most likely team to win the title after LA. Again Cleveland had the best record in the league and again lebron was MVP . Poorly ran team? Yeah because of lebron James.

Lebron scored easy layups and dunks because that's all his game is. Layups and dunks.

The last minute he turned the ball over twice and went 1-3 ... His last field goal attempt was way off the mark and Bosh gathered the rebound and passed it to Ray Allen for the clutch 3 that saved lebron career.

Kyrie saved lebron. Lebron knows it too. He was bailed out twice by clutch shots by his teammates in the finals. If they don't make those shots he only has 2 rings.

Can't be top 2 if you shoot 38% outside of 3 feet from the basket

Lebron lost to that Durant Warriors team so it doesn't matter either way.

If lebron didn't have his size and athleticism he would be the same as his son Bronny, a G league talent at best. If at that since Bronny is only a G league talent because of Lebron nepotism.

4/10 is 40%. That's an F on any test or exam. You can't be the second best on that kind of record

5'10" Allen Iverson would have more rings than lebron on that Miami team

Ok yes you found a flaw in his overall stats. What about points, rebounds, assists, steals, triple doubles, etc...

Is it fair to cherry pick one or a few less than stellar stats and say he's the most overrated athlete of all time while ignoring the plurality of major accomplishments?

Not impressed by his career totals and some of his averages. He is the all time points leader ... With the majority of his points within the paint and restricted area. He accrues the vast majority of his points via finishing at the basket. Assists? What about his assist to turnover ratio? Or the fact that he is the all time leader in turnovers. If you distribute the ball and have the possession of the ball you should have assists. Rebounds? He's 6'9" 260 lbs with unparalleled athlecism ... Shouldn't he be able to rebound well? A lot of his stats are empty and we're achieved during garbage time. It's nothing super extraordinary. Any great ayer that is super ball dominant will be able to record triple doubles.

I'm saying this because he's been pushing himself as the GOAT for years now. Had he not done that and just played out his career like everyone else then there's no reason for me to say this. He seems to be concensous #2 in the media and some places onlne now because of his media campaign.

Do you really think Bird, Magic, Shaquille, Hakeem, Wilt, Duncan, MJ, Kareem, Kobe or any other accepted top 10 player would have only had 4 rings with a 4-10 finals record if they were replaced with Lebron James throughout the duration of his 20 year career? Would anyone fail as bad as lebron in 2011?

Actually he is 4/10 while cheating on the exam and having two out of his four points given to him

He cannot be goat or even #2 when there are people who lead their team with winning records in the finals

I only made a surface level post on lebron ... I didn't delve into any deep analysis or take an in depth look at his entire career .... But even from the surface we can see he's not the caliber of player that his reputation has him at.

You can't have that much help and only achieve as much as he has. People talk about the KD Warriors ... Lebron was the catalyst behind KD joining GS ... Had he not formed his own super team in Miami, KD would never have joined GS ...

Of course 2009 and 2010 CAVS had best record and were among favorites, because of the presence of Ilgaukas and Mo Williams no doubt... Can you believe they had better record than Celtics, starting that bum at SF, whats his name? Man, Boobie Gibsons prime was robbed by those scrub teammates of his.

Guy reached finals 10 times, trully a loser.

Overall, disregarding LeBron James, this would be interesting thread, although a negative one, who was most overrated athlete ever? It probably has to be someone from English Football National Team.
