Magic need to keep going until he can be stable #1/top 10 player. If Giannis and Bucks keep disappointing, that's a trip to the finals. Franz Wagner as his sidekick isn't too shabby, either.

His resistance band stretching and Tai Chi fascia stretching routines are paying off. And those off-season workouts with KD. He was always fluid but he looks really in control; and that shot looks smooth.

I think the biggest development for Paolo is his defense. Don’t get me wrong, not saying he’s some DPOY or All-Defense guy.

But defense was the huge question mark with him. Many thought he would basically be unplayable on that end. He’s turned himself into a positive defender. You can tell he has at least tried to buy into that end of the court.

When it comes to everything else. Dude is a legit 6’10 who is built like a brick house. While he may not be the most explosive leaper. His agility for his size is truly freakish. Add in he’s now a legit point forward and that jumper is looking better and better each season. We’re at the point where you can basically pencil him in for All-NBA teams.

Also props to the Magic front office. Instead of making a dumb trade and trying to get some high volume on ball guy. They turned into the Paolo/Franz duo as their primary ball handlers. I think it has taken both to the next level.

I was always high on Paolo but even I was surprised by that first half performance. He’s an absolute beast and the Magic are going to be dangerous for the foreseeable future

Paolo is huge, athletic, and skilled. The prototype for #1 overall pick.

No need to see anymore they were just doing their due diligence on the other guys to see if they could prompt a Fultz / Tatum type of trade from some GM trying to get cute.
