I hesitate to call anyone who hasn't made the playoffs a winning player.

have you heard of Nikola Jokic? Or maybe Luka “couldn’t get back on D I was crying to refs” Doncic?

That's terrible but he's been shooting well. Overall I don't know if he's been especially good?

Well... winning players tend to win a lot more. But the foundation is there

Check the hornets record in 22 when he played 75 games…

He is definitely not the problem. Hornets don't have enough players right now

LaMelo makes everyone around him better. Hornets worst 2 seasons happened when he wasn't on the court.
This year, outside the Celtics (who SLAUGHTERED your Knicks), Hornets are .500 without a starting center. This is Brandon Miller's second game.
Get real.

Get real ? His ass only played 58 games the past 2 years and your on the hook for $40 M for the next 5 years.Godymas wrote:Rockazoids wrote:Well I would take 15/6 over 29/6 with some wins any day unless your building up his trade value to move & build around Miller.

Bad take... If I'm a GM I'm moving him for the most I can get over being on the hook for $203 M.

If you were Knicks GM, Brunson wouldn't be on your team.

I thought most people knew the talent Melo has. This was expected if he actually played and thankfully we're seeing it. The Hornets have a nice roster.uncleduck13 wrote:I know it’s less than 10 games, and the Hornets haven’t been winning…but the individual play of Melo has to be worth discussing. Dude is playing at a very elite level. Arguably top 10 at the moment. What is his ceiling?
JustBuzzin wrote:Melo's play should not be surprising. Look at his stats from last season. His problem has always been his health. This guy is one of the best pgs in the league when he's on the court.
I told people last season this guy was every bit as good as Haliburton if not better. I nicknamed him "Flashy Hali" he's got more in his bag imo.
