So bad they're not even the worst team in history. 2011-12 CHA will take throne. Horrendous roster even for that time. 7 wins total. Also didn't PHI lose like 20+ games straight to start the season during the Hinkie years?

If I were a top pick in this draft, I'd do everything in my power to tank my value and avoid going to a place so terribly run as the Wizards. Imagine being a top talent and then getting stuck in DC to waste your career.

He's the worst lottery pick since Anthony Bennet. He wouldn't be on an NBA roster if he wasn't selected as high as he was.

As far as the the O.P., the process Sixers were the worse team to ever take the court. They were starting G League guards. The Wizards have NBA talent on the floor, but they're force feeding their lottery picks minutes.

1st pick, probably need to do 8yrs but guaranteed 100M over that time. Break every record at WAS before you leave. Be the top dog and the hope of the team all that time. Then **** off once RFA and and make a superteam. Could be worse

Bro, when they were the Bullets?! The USA wasn’t too far removed segregation in the 70s

I'm early 40s, they were the bullets in my childhood. Owner changed the name in the 90s due to gun violence which was off the charts bad through the 70s-80s and into the 90s. I wish they'd go back. Bullets is a much cooler name.

Oh I know. It is gone forever but the name was awesome. And my late father was right. The name bullets reminded most people of speed not guns. Sucks that it was lost.

That said crazy to think there was a baseball team named the Colt 45s. And I can't believe the stros managed to use the retro uniforms.

Just looked it up, was even worse than I remember Lost 26 straight. That's was Hinkies downfall, it was so blatant tanking. Draft rules were different then as well and that sparked a change for the current lotto odds. Worst team then had a ridiculous chance at nr1

They need to play Brogdon and Valancunias less. They could screw things up.

A lot can happen in a year. Right now they're relying on 19 and 20 year old players. Carrington, Coulibaly, and Sarr. If those players continue to improve and you add in someone like Flagg then who knows...? They also have future assets besides their own picks and might get more in a trade (Jonas, Brodgon, Kuzma, etc.).

I actually think they will have the worst record of all time.

I mean they literally lose by 20 on average. Their losses aren't even close games. They almost always get blown out.

The Wizards are doing exactly what they should be doing, getting their young dudes a lot of burn and tanking hard for the next two drafts.

Their main modus operandi historically has been to treadmill endlessly with teams that had no title hopes and not enough ping-pong balls.

When you give three rookies from one of the worst draft classes of all time big time minutes, this is what happens.

Valanciunas, Kuzma and Brogdon all have some trade value though. They'll probably move those guys for more youth and picks.

Because he's the worst player I've ever seen in my life and I've seen a LOT of busts in a Wiz uniform. He's had plenty of playing time. Just completely and obviously terrible from the first summer league game.

That year with Paul Pierce was pretty awesome.

Must be nice to be in a division where you get to play them 5 times. Meanwhile the "worst" team the lakers get to play 5 times is the kings or Clippers.

They haven't won 50 games since they lost the the Finals 1979. Decent chance they go 50+ years between 50-win seasons.
