Maybe they're more casual fans, they don't look up stats and analytics?

Otherwise yeah I think they have at least as big a fanbase as the Celtics, so it's strange. Unless it's something unfortunate, like the Celtics through much of their history have been seen as a "white" team, many of their iconic stars throughout history have been white players and that's why southern states have so many Celtics fans?

Hell even Tennessee prefers the Celtics over the Grizzlies?

even as a laker fan I've been on the GS page to look up curry's stats. A lot of it might be curry driven

Lot of my co workers have kids under 15. From what I hear, Curry isn't just popular with that group. There almost might as well not be other players. Now I'm in ohio, so no real local team here (Cleveland is way too far away from me).

All hail Queen Caitlin.

Anyone else spend 10 seconds thinking "when did the Feyers join the WNBA" and what is a Feyer?"

I'd love to see these same graphics over a 10 year span.

NOP too.

I kind of wonder if in low population Montana and New Orleans, some eager fan is visiting hundreds of times a day when he plays with the Trade Checker, while the rest of the state has given up on the NBA altogether?

I usually use BBref to look at champions or great players. Looking at the 2024 Celtics on BBref is interesting because they won the title but Tatum didn’t have great stats.

Why would anyone look up the 2024 Grizzlies on BBref?

I might have to ask around on that. I struggle to think anyone isn't on there :)
