I remember when some Raps fans were obsessed with. Bamba. He is a legit bust now right?
He's been a bust for years.

Fair enough. He is still only 26 believe it or not. I thought he would at least be a solid rotation player. It looks like he might be out of the league soon the way it is going. The Magic would like that one back, but it happens for all teams. One thing the Raps do well is draft players.

Thanks for the answers. Makes sense for them to get under the tax and get more flexibility. Didn't know they were so close to get under the tax.. they didn't operate that way the last few years.. ;)

I thought Eubanks had promise as a high energy, athletic, pick and roll to the hoop guy. Man, was I wrong about that when he was in PHX.

Eubanks sucks. Saw him early in Portland, local kid so wish the best, but he's wayyyyy too slow for the NBA. Foot speed and reaction time just aren't NBA quality, but he's big, so that got him a cup of coffee in the NBA, he's probably out of the league after this tho.

Harden likes those kind of guys and levels them up. I'm assuming he will get lots of easy lobs and finishes.

People ask what's this does for Jazz - it fixes Ainge reputation a bit and lets other GMs know they can call him up and not get bleed dry of assets by doing so.
One 2nd is very modest price for lending Clips a hand here.

Clippers were also looking for someone to be a decent backup for Zubac, and Bamba was just not bringing it.

Nothing special about Eubanks, he just has to be a little better than Mamba

While Eubanks is not glamorous he’s a dependable 15 minutes and 5pts/4rbs kind of guy. Something Tucker and Bamba were not.

Still think the Clippers will be looking at other big men to add.

Most importantly is the flexibility it opened up for the Clippers. Now we wait to see what avenues they use.

I mean... he had Chris Paul as his PG. How much better than that do you need?

Mo Bamba was so **** awful for the Sixers that Andre Drummond is an upgrade.

Bamba isn't really a rotation player, but he isn't horrendous either. He can knock down a 3 here, finish lobs and there and does effect shots sometimes due to his length. Don't think Eubanks is much better than him, but they needed to clear Tucker's contract. Too bad Mills is 36 now- he was a very solid bench player for the Spurs.

I love Patty Mills. All the Clips need from him is 1 good game a series.
I think Patty can still bring it 1 out of every 7 games.

Smart move for the Clippers. Tucker and Bamba were dead weight. Eubanks is more of a bruiser inside which is what Harden likes. Remember, Harden is pretty slow also (as is Kawhi) so the lack of speed is not much of a concern. Not sure what value Mills brings, but he is more easily unloadable at the deadline as he brings decent value as a veteran mentor. I think the Clips shopped Tucker for months and got no interest. Now they get to shop Mills and Bones Hyland who are around $7M that can be used in another trade. Plus the Clips can now take advantage of the buyout market without exceeding the tax. Nice move - low risk, medium reward.
