Not sure how this is the conclusion when he’s injured and probably just haven’t been healthy enough to work out. But if this is true, then you get him help not trade him.
"I need a recovery beer." After recording a triple-double.
Michael Finley having to take a beer out of his hands after winning the West last year.
Dallas having concerns about his "conditioning."
It isn't just a "get him help" issue. It has to be acknowledged from within. If he doesn't feel he has a problem, he won't address it. Unless someone form the Mavs straight-up told him, "we traded you because you have an alcohol abuse issue and you need help and we don't think we could've helped you," it's a bit rough and if* they felt he wouldn't have listened, they figured they'd get something that fits their current team in return by not having to pay him a potential $300 million deal to miss half the season because his obsession with the game doesn't match his talent.

Keep in mind, even when you're recovering from ome injury, you can still work out.ORLMagicGirl15 wrote:magee wrote:He's an alcoholic. Takes one to know one.

If Cuban was still majority owner, he never signs off on this.web123888 wrote:Worst trade I’ve seen in my lifetime. Luka is a generational player and top 3 in the league. Proven superstar and led them to the conference finals and finals before the age of 25.
Cuban and the Mavs are morons.![]()
Davis is nice but an aging #2 option not a #1.

because there's something going on that is not being told. Simple as that.

To be clear, were you referring to the GM or Luka?
