Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

Lamello is just not a serious basketball player. All that talent.

I wonder if he'll ever be a competitive player. Like truly put the work in to become great.

I feel like we are nearing the end of the Thibs era at the Knicks, they will be bounced in the first round and the Front Office will have to make significant changes starting with Tommy Boy

Looks like the Knicks want to test the 4/5/6 waters. It's a little warm, and murky, but thats just the blood.

Come join us

One would think they are deliberately trying to avoid a first round match up with The Pistons whom I firmly believe have overtaken the Knicks to be the 3rd best team in the Eastern Conference

The huge separator between the top 3 and Detroit, is buckets of experience. That goes a long, long way in the playoffs

I agree though, that no one really wants to face the Pistons. Except maybe the Pacers. The two teams just hate each other.

Sorry Knicks fans I think you need to find an upgrade to Precious Achiuwa off the bench.

Look, I know the Knicks are exhausted because their coach has brain damage and they are missing Brunson, but down 16 to the Hornets? The Hornets?

Pick it up guys. That 4th seed ain't as far away as you think.

2 min to go, and the Knicks starters are just now sitting down 18.

Thibs is toast

Only thing I can defend the Knicks is that they played in San Antonio the night before and I assume it's a long flight between there and North Carolina

But the wheels have been falling off the Knicks in red weeks, even before Brunson got injured.

It feels like another wasted/disappointing season for Knicks fans. Don't know why Josh Hart has been struggling ever since the All Star Break. That's a big reason for the Knicks malaise imo

Bridges - we play too many minutes.

Thibbs - vs. Spurs, starters 31-37 minutes, relied on mostly three bench players 17, 17, 21 minutes in an away game.

Thibbs on a travel SAGABABA - vs. Buzz, starters, 33-39 minutes, relied heavily on three bench players, 16, 17, 19 minutes.

Insane.

The only lower, more consistent number is Bridges playing 32 and then 33 minutes.

But yeah. There's a disconnect here. Is this a case of you can't expect a leopard to change his spots or the bench being that bad that Thibbs can't budge?

Feels like a message is being sent one way or another.

I don't think Nets fans will be happy if they win this game. They move one game clear of Philly in the tanking stakes. This could be very costly come lotto time

Jordi has done too good a job with the Nets

We could roll out our G league team and he’d get them to be somewhat competitive

Meh

We’re not going to finish bottom 3 anyway and the draft seems to be very top heavy

Entertaining Nets Pacers game. Looked like a bad call giving Mathurin 3 shots when it looked like he kicked out his leg.
Brad Stevens on fans who want the Celtics to tank: "I don’t think they’ll like me all that much then."
