He's gotta have better shot selection tonight, guy got blocked like 4 times. That transition long 2 really took the air outta the building too.

We all know he's headed to a big pay day this summer but we need him to play smart tonight.

You guys really lack the shot creation and playmaking without Garland. Ty Jerome and Evan Mobley will need to burden more offensive responsibility if the Cavaliers expect to win.
Mobley is likely out.

Pacer podcasters analyzing game one say that the two teams shot about the same percentage on open threes but many more of the Pacers threes were open and many more of the Cavs threes were contested. Pacers passed more and got shooters open.

Mobley can't even put weight on his left ankle according to Cavs beat writer Chris Fedor, so his series is probably over.

Great now we'll lose credit if we win this series but if we were injured nobody would give a damn

Idk what Kenny will do. Me personally, I'd start Wade but then there's no depth behind him bc Hunter is Mobley's main back-up and they had to reset Hunter's thumb last night so rebounding and shooting are probably not possible.

I said over on the Cavs team forum, I'd give Javonte Green some minutes. Cavs signed him off the buyout market, like what do ya have to lose? He's springy, pure hustle.

If its the series for Mobley we can possibly overcome it if Garland and Hunter end up being healthy after tonight. Could just sit everyone and then hope for full health minus Mobley on Friday and moving forward

Far better than having possibly your greatest regular season ever - and statistically one of the 20 best ever - including the best offense ever, the coach of the year and defensive player of the year only to lose BECAUSE of said injuries.

If it goes that way, I'd rather be a Pacers fan.

In the last 60 years only 3 players have started the first 6 playoff games with 100+pts, 70+ ast, 35+ rebs.
Hauburon (2025)
Rajon Rondo (2009)
Magic (6X)

The first player ever to have in any 6 game playoff span.

As a Cavs fan, im completely heart broken… i really felt like we had a chance, and that we’d be playing Boston and give them atleast a decent fight. Injuries are the worst thing ever.

Wade looked gimpy in the last game.

Given the fact Turner and Mathurin were the proximate cause of two of those injuries, I wouldn't expect a lot of sympathy.

I'm really shocked that the injuries to Mobley and Hunter are as severe as it's currently told. They both stayed in the court and finished Sunday's game. Was it just adrenaline keeping them going?

Probably so. Cavs are not going to literally fight back on the court so Kenny and his staff sent those 2 plays and the one on Allen to the league office.

Donovan Mitchell is going to have to drop 40+ for them to have a chance tonight.

I mean, that's not fair, is it?

Myles was straight up contesting a shot when Mobley's foot landed on his foot. It's not like he was trying to undercut him.

Same with Mathurin. He was making a basketball play at the ball. He wasn't trying to injure anyone. Even the refs considered the contact with his left arm marginal which is why they didn't overturn the call upon review.

Neither of those plays were intended to injure another player. If we start doing that then I could blame LeBron James for ending Danny Granger's career during our series back in 2012 (and with the series tied at 2-2). That wouldn't be fair, though, would it?
