Possibly famous last words, but I think we got it last game already. And Himmy just isn’t “Him” anymore. Not that I entirely blame him, the Warriors minus Steph are arguably worse than the Heat so he’s carrying a huge load.

Arguably worse?

did you see the heat in the 1st round?

The Greatest of All-Time? Hardly.

what exactly do you think someone's prime is? the day when we judge their legacy after they're older and finally start going downhill. like do you think jordan's prime was the last game of the 1998 finals and then we judge him based on his 6 championships that he had at that point? your prime is the extended part of your career when you are a great player. if you made the all-star game like edwards did this year, you are in your prime. and no one's legacy is judged based on the first year or two of their prime, but by what they look like years later when their prime has ended.

Oh did they mean the current Heat? I might still pick them over the Curry-less Warriors, but I assumed that poster meant the heat that Himmy carried to the finals.

I was trying to be generous to the Warriors, I think it could go either way depending which teams’ young guys actually show up (Kuminga was great the other night and invisible most of the series).

Warriors dealt with their own set of injuries, won some of those series, while losing at least one title because of them.
1. Injuries are part of the game.
2. Injuries can alter the results
Both can be true.
Wolves will win this series because Curry is injured, we don't know if they would have lost with Steph playing in all the games, impossible to tell, and that's ok.
If Wolves win the title, most people would not care about this injury, but as always there would be fans(like you) pointing to injuries in past rounds. It happens every year.
If they don't get to the finals, I don't think they can take anything from this series.

As a Wolves fan, we've rarely had a reason to blame anything on injuries because quite frankly we've just been bad anyways. But, the season the Nuggets won the title we played them in the first round without Naz and Jaden McDaniels. Would the series have been different? Hard to say, but we lost, and I don't blame it on injuries. The better team won the series, and you just move on and hope for health the next year.

Sure.

But there’s a very big BUT:

He’s been great during winning time.

Ant was very good in the Lakers series but hasn't been all that good in the Warrior series. Warriors defense is extremely good (especially without Curry) but Ant still hasn't been his usual self.

Correct. But Ant often doesn’t show up when he’s not the underdog. Cool that he gets better when the competition is highest, but he needs to maintain effort and focus when the opponents aren’t as good.

Yeah, the coverage shouldn't have been that long. This series has been over.

Warriors win.

Butler for 35.

It's not killing him because he's such a smart/high IQ player, but you can tell Jimmy's athletic decline is affecting his finishing ability. No dunks and every layup looks like he's going to get blocked or rushing it.

Hate that jumping backwards leads to a foul call. Regardless, flat start by Minnesota tonight.
