Bringing LeBron would just stunt Flagg development. Having LeBron and kyrie would just make him a role player on offense.

Of course it doesn't, but you know those little details don't matter that much for Lakers trade ideas. The Mavs would need to reduce their salaries still for around 9 Million and neither of the other 2 teams can take on enougH additional players from them to make it work.

It seems like a win-win for Dallas.

I want to believe it would be pretty good for Dallas, yeah.

Would it?

Flagg gets a little more safety net, AND gets to learn from Lebron. He gets to look better earlier with higher-end playmaking feeding him. He can still work on his ball-handling with Kyrie out, and on his slashing game while Lebron starts more possessions in the post, or as the roll man in a PnR.

Sounds pretty awesome to me.

You have a point there. I guess it makes sense to make a move like that. Davis and kyrie don’t have much time left so maximizing on win now players while still helping Flagg devolp might not be a bad thing. Having winning veteran players around him might help even more.

Indeed, it'd be for a year or two at most, and it would be a very interesting learning opportunity for Flagg, I think. Good place to start before they throw him to the fire and ask him to float the whole franchise as the main guy.

LeBron is gonna push for Golden State so him and his family can stay in California.

Watch him force Dallas to trade away their rookie like he did the Cavs for Wiggins

Why do people think his family has to move? They don’t. If you don’t think someone with money and resources of James can manage commuting - join the modern age. He will go wherever he wants for his retirement tour. His family can stay put.

Are people forgetting LeBron has a no trade clause? PJ would be a great add for the Lakers, a 3 & D forward who's strong on the glass and has good chemistry with Luka, he struggled a bit after the Luka trade so his value is lower than it should be right now. Naji's a nice player on a reasonable contract, too. If they could get one of Gafford or Lively this trade would be a homerun for LA

Doesn't make much sense for Dallas, Kyrie has been hinting he might not even be back for the playoffs next season, giving up one of their last remaining available picks to add 41 year old LeBron is a recipe for building nothing around Flagg in the foreseeable future. Nico might be stupid enough to do this

I don't think Lebron is a stupid man. Flagg vs Wiggins, very different stories.

Wiggins? Sucked a lot of ass in a role with any sort of primacy. His best use case is low-volume corner shooter who focuses on defense because he's a pretty weak on-ball guy who is inconsistent above the break.

Flagg, on the other hand, has a lot of potential which Wiggins never did, for a host of different reasons.

You do the trade, and what, you have Dlo-Flagg-Lebron-AD-Lively? Or Dlo-Christie-Flagg-Lebron-AD with Lively off the bench?

Lebron alone is better than the players the Lakers would get in this trade.

I guess so, on the Warrior board people are debating ScoopB and Siegel tweets, neither of which ever has insider news on the Warriors (and Siegel is like 80% wrong).

It is all Rich Paul trying to control the narrative after that report came out that Bron didn't have a trade market.

For those saying this is fake, explain this picture from 2013 of LeBron in Dallas meeting with the Cowboys:
