I can’t judge by the picture whether he’s out of shape or not.

He is. An NBA player should never not have a 6 pack or a flat stomach (at minimum)

There are some exceptions like Boris Diaw or Batum.

We just need to accept that money changes people once they’ve made it, and most times it’s not as much change as indifference towards what got them there. We’ll never know until we hit the lotto ourselves. We should expect him to be better, but it’s fine, the NBA is loaded with talent, and some are diabolical in their preparation regardless of the fat bank.
