Micah Parsons had 1 sack in the playoffs in 4 years of being in the league.

Luka carried the Mavs to the finals and came 2 games shy of beating a powerhouse Celtics team for a ring.

How is it even comparable considering how each of them play when the stakes are the highest?

Unlike Luka, Parsons is not a cornerstone you can hang your franchise to due to 1). position, 2). talent. This isn't some generational, changing the entire culture QB they are trading. He's an elite level pass rusher, of which there are more than one. They are very hard to get, but they won't change the fate of an entire franchise for years to come from worst to best. The trade is terrible, among the worst in recent NFL history (and I can say that, being a Browns fan) and Jerry continues to be his own worst enemy, don't get me wrong, but there is no comparison to be made here that involves the Luka trade, other than both taking place in Dallas.

Micah is incredible but Mavs losing Luka is akin to if the Cowboys drafted Mahomes and traded him for peanuts after a super bowl run. It’s a different stratosphere with how positions work in football and Parsons was kind of up and down in his small playoff portfolio so trading him I can see some logic IF they had a competent ownership

That return is awful however and well the cowboys moves past 10 years or so speak for themselves

I don't really remember a sports city getting decimated like this in a really long time.

The equivalent would be the Bills trading Josh Allen to the Cowboys, and somehow only getting 1 first.

I think everyone views Flagg as the undisputed best player of the draft. A future MVP candidate.

Just the same way as everyone anticipated an MVP-level careers for Wiggins, Zion, Blake Griffin, AD or Oden. Being the first pick and being Luka is huge difference.

No if your talking financially hell no the cowboys are worth 13 billion dollars this move won’t effect them at all. But playing wise the Mavs will be a way better team than the cowboys the Mavs at least got Davis who is a way better player than what cowboys got.
