Realistically Europe's best starting 5 could be

Doncic
Wemby
Markkanen
Giannis
Jokic
He may look like an idiot and talk like an idiot but don't let that fool you. He really is an idiot.

My Rockets are just humongous this season. We may start a lineup entirely made up of guys with 7ft+ wingspans. Against the Pelicans we started a lineup Udoka is considering for the regular season:

Adams
Sengun
Jabari
Durant
Amen

Four 6'10+ guys, all with 7FT+ wingspan. The front office went all in on going big this season and it's going to be an interesting experiment in how big is too big.

Would love to see your team's big lineups.

let's be honest, a healthy lineup like that should win a ring. I don't see how you can realistically compete with that...

Uhh put Adams and Sengun in constant PnR action?

Pack the paint defensively and make them beat you from outside?

That team likely doesn't even win a playoff round lol.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

the Sengun+Adams lineup was used by Udoka extentisively after the ASB last season and it was one of the best 5 man lineups in the league in that period, in terms of +- etc and did fine vs. PNR's

as for the other end of the floor, "packing the paint" sounds easy enough in theory but Sengun is just too good, smart and versatile for that to really be a viable plan and teams that play small, can "pack" all they want - the Rockets are just gonna grab all the offensive board and try again

Adams and Sengun played a whopping 162 minutes together all of last year.

Sengun is not good enough to handle constant double teams wit ha packed paint when he is kicking it out to Amen Thompson and Jabari Smith, and Adams is also clogging up the paint.

Amen/KD/Jabari/Sengun/Adams is a novelty lineup that works in small doses to catch teams off-guard. Anyone with any sort of gameplanning will shut it right down because there is no shooting, no ball handling, no playmaking.

Allen 6'9" - 7'6" wingspan
Mobley 6'11" - 7'3" wingspan
Hunter 6'8" - 7'2" wingspan
Mitchell 6'3" - 6'10" wingspan
Merrill 6'4" - 6'5" wingspan, he's the spot starter until Garland gets back from his June surgery.

That's the starters, but you can do better with a bench lineup.

PG - Lonzo Ball 6'6" - 6'9" wingspan
SG - Hunter 6'8" - 7'2" wingspan
SF - Dean Wade 6'9" - 6'10" wingspan
PF - Mobley 6'11" - 7'3" wingspan
C - Allen 6'9" - 7'6" wingspan

Realistic enough that Kenny could play that for a few minutes, Hunter is the only one out of position and he's got enough of a handle and wingspan to manage the 2.

In terms of realistic lineups...
PG - Dylan Harper 6'6"
SG - Julian Champagnie 6'7"
SF - Harrison Barnes 6'8"
PF - Wemby 7'5"
C - Luke Kornet 7'1"

Hunter played a couple minutes at SG his 2nd year in Atlanta, so anything is possible!

You guys thinking huge lineups would win it all apparently haven't played basketball much. You beat big lineups with speed and quickness, run them off the court. We just saw this past season, both OKC and Indy run bigs off the court on their way to the finals.

We can put together this too:

Sengun 6'11, 7,1
Durant 6'11, 7'4
Jabari (6'10+) 6'11, 7'2
Dorian Finney Smith 6'11, 7'0
Amen 6'7, 6'11.5

Any teams seriously thinking about using it? Lots of team loaded up with bigs this summer (Denver comes to mind).

Huh.. when did DFS grow to 6'11? Wasn't he just 6'5 barefoot a year or so back?

Magic Johnson 6-9 PG
Michael Cooper 6-7 SG
James Worthy 6-9 SF
AC Green 6-9 PF
Kareem 7-2 C

Think there is also a good chance to find a huge lineup during the seasons Giannis played SG or when Kidd used him as a PG for year, while the Bucks had a lot tall young players they started in Parker, Henson, Monroe and Maker, while Middleton played SG, but was too lazy to click through he game logs.

Not huge by height, but this lineup is one the Pistons will actually use a lot I think.

PG: Cade 6'7"
SG: Ron Holland 6'8"
SF: Ausar Thompson 6'8"
PF: Tobias Harris 6'8"
C: Stewart 6'8"

Very switchable lineup from top to bottom.... of course they might prefer to have a shooter like Duncan Robinson in that unit over Ron Holland.

He'll be on those mini drywall stilts for this lineup.

Dallas can go bigger if they want, especially if they use the potential Flagg at PG lineup that they've been considering

Flagg 6'8" 7'0" wingspan
Thompson 6'5" 6'9" wingspan
Washington 6'7" 7'3" wingspan
Davis 6'10" 7'6" wingspan
Lively 7'1" 7'7" wingspan

They're pretty easy to create open 3s against but good luck in the paint against that lineup

Well this is the realistic and probable lineup we are trotting out.

PG - Suggs 6'4 - AB 6'7 ( due to uncertain Suggs injury)
SG - Bane 6'5
SF - Franz 6'11
PF - Paolo 6'10
C - WCJ 6'10
