Yes, Nene came to mind instantly. Nene had it in 2006, but then recovered and played for years. I am not familiar with this, but obviously, when people get cancer, the first priority is just surviving.

I had stage 3 ball cancer in 2019 as a relatively unhealthy person in my later 30s. Topic will most probably be totally fine as a healthy young athlete.

I believe nene had a career year after his recovery from a similar cancer about 15 years ago. hopefully kid is alright. I like his game a lot too
