Go back to the days when teams had a goon to go punch a dude like this in the face. And these kids nowadays laugh and say they couldn't play you damn right they weren't the best but they were there for this specific reason! No need to go to the monitor to see if it's intentional.

Every team needs a Beef Stew and Draymond Green that's why I love those dudes!

And also from that still shot it looks like Wemby tripped Curry purposely too maybe this was get back.

If getting in a shooter's landing zone is dangerous then i'd saying diving into someone's ankles is as well.

I love Wem and don't really care about Podz (sorry Podz), so I wanted to get mad about this, but to me it looks like the weird diving motion on Podz' part was a momentum thing after he and Wemby were fighting for possession and Wemby ripped the ball away. Podz probably didn't mean to launch himself face first into Draymond's knee. Hard to see for sure though, kinda wish there was another camera angle.

They need to take their time with this one. dont want a kd/ hali/ dame situation where they come back to quick and pop an achilles. especially given this guys size and playstyle.

What do you feel he was trying to do there?

hes trying to get the ball, slips and tries to avoid ending draymonds career with a headbut to the kneecap.

I remember gasping and being relieved Wemby didn't get injured on that dangerous play. I guess he did afterall.

That is a really dangerous/reckless way to play basketball. Not sure if actual dirty (I doubt it) but he didn't dive until Wemby already regained possession of the ball.

Obviously?
I have no dog in it but it certainly looked intentional to me.

It does look intentional but that court is really awful, how can people watch basketball with that ugly court?

Funny enough, Draymond also appears to be kicking Wemby in the very first frame of the video.

Looks intentional to me. Swung his leg way further than a natural motion would have taken him. I guess Podz is a **** human being on top of being a **** basketball player. Hate to see it.

Podziemski is quickly turning into my least favorite player in the league. He always comes off as a giant douche.

Says a Warriors fan. Those are much different looking actions.

If a reckless closeout is a flagrant 1, these plays should be a flagrant 1. Simple as.

WWF **** right there lol.
To be fair though it probably looks worse than really was. Not intentionally dirty but reckless.

Funny hearing Spurs fans clutch pearls when they cheered for the inventor of "the Zaza" before it was called that, Bruce Bowen. Bowen would do it over and over intentionally, turning many ankles. Bowen also once stepped on Kobe's hand intentionally, and another time flying karate kicked a guy in the face.

But Podz diving for a ball is dirty.
