so what's your angle? i mean, you just want to pull their pants down? ok, they suck...what else do you want to be said here? it is, what it is...simple and plain...no need in drilling down lower, and lower...if a fan of the team tries to create reason, let them...it's how some people cope...it's not really necessary to kick them in the teeth while their down...i imagine that it feels great to be a fan of the greatest team in NBA history, such as yourself, but not everyone has the luxury, someone has to root for the losers too...

Go Saints.

they will probably continue to suck until the all star break and then be like oh wait we better start playing well and finish the season strong.

They did use to have top 5 hardest schedual to start the season.

And they were excelling at that point too. Go figure.

http://teamrankings.com/nba/27powerratings.php3

That's the power rankings for SoS I like to go by because it factors in home games.

Or you can go by your generic ESPN/NBA one http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/stats/rpi?season=2006&sortColumn=sos

For those wondering in the first link ORL SoS is 15, dead middle. In the second one their bottom 5, or easiest 5 scheduals in the leauge. So you can see what the first one's account of home games does. It takes into account some of the back to backs too because most of the brutal 4 in 5 game stretches happen on the road agaist the opposing conference.

I was always curious to see how they'd do, because they use a ridiculously unorthadox strategy. One awesome big man and a bunch of people who chuck threes.

i wanted a reason.. but even then do you think playing in china is a legit excuse? Also, i asked why this occurs every year. I do not think china is a yearly route...

I dont know why things happen in the NBA...so I cant even begin to give you the right answer...but, personally, no I don't think the China trip is a huge bearing on today...sure, it added to the load, but that was well before this stretch...these last 20 games is a rut, i hope...

however i do think the schedule has been pretty rough, and to dispute that is absurd...saying that ESPN says their schedule isn't bad and so on, it's fine to post stats, but you have to account for that particular team...for this team, we might as well of had the toughest schedule...

and apparently, it's the worse schedule in team history...according to stat getters for the organization...

another thing, which is stated over and over and just isn't correct...the Magic don't do THIS every season, not even half of the seasons...it's just fallacy...

and to date, the Magic are better this season than last season, with a harder schedule, and their over .500 by 7 games, so i guess I cant be too upset...

i'd like to hope we will get control of ourselves and develop a lot more...

also, we may "chuck up three's" but we make a whole lot more of them than other teams...we have 3 of the top 3 point shooters this season...so it's a little more than an amazing big and some 3 point chuckers...in my humble opinion...

give them a little credit, they dont have much to work with outside their starters, they havent been together as a system for long and there are some young guys in the mix...

im disappointed with recent play, but im still happy to be a fan and i pray for brighter days...

Besides, if you're gonna use the trend that the Magic start out strong then suck during the middle, you're also gonna have to use the trend that they end the season strong as well.

Last season they were like 10 or 12 games under .500 then went on the run. This season they're 7 games over before that run.

Add in the fact that the schedule is probably the easiest in the NBA the rest of the way, and you can see them being around 15 games over .500 or so if the trends continue like you seem to think they do.

When I'm saying "easy schedule," I mean fewer games with lots of rest between them with long stretches of home games. The Magic haven't had any stretches of home games this season. It's been roadtrips with a home game or two peppered in between.

And again, the Bobcats are playing great ball at the moment.

You can't beat every team every night. If you're playing the 3rd back to back in 10 nights starting from Sacramento and ending in Charlotte you're going to be tired as ****.

ya that Sacramento game did not come out too pleasant either. I am sorry that teams have to play 6 games in 10 nights. I will ask David Stern to make it 1 game a week for the Magic. It will be called Friday night Basketball or Monday night Magic.

haha...wouldnt be RealGM if someone wasnt out on the hunt dying to prove someone wrong...

guess i feel honored that it was the only thing pointed out thus far from my lengthy post...

i didnt say percentage, now did i? you know the ole saying about assumptions dont you?

Rashard Lewis is #1 in made 3's this year, at 109 (111 after tonights games) and outside of Jason Richardson (106 as of tonight), no one else in the league has cracked 100... Keith Bogans is #5 and Hedo is #8...

i mean James Jones is #1, taking what, 83 total 3's this year, and making 44? and Shard has put up 280 and connected on 109...Hell by these numbers Dwight was #1 last year taking one and making one 3 all year long...

again, the posting stats thing, it makes conversation so 1 dimensional, especially when they skew the other facts a bit...

oh, and i know, i know, the raptors have awesome 3 point guys, your team is amazing etc. etc. you win because Kopono is up there...got it...

meh...whatever...your opinion...im not sitting here trying to justify things...just throwing out my take on things...im not making excuses...i didn't even refute the fact that the Magic suck...

and i stand by my statement, Magic have 3 of the best 3 point shooters in the league...3 guys i'd trust taking that shot more so than some others out there...even on that list...its your interpretation of best vs mine, and which data you choose to use and also how you perceive that data...so neither of us is correct in the others eyes...simple and plain...

appreciate your time though...

whats the deal with TJ?
