73, because it would be pretty damn awesome getting to watch your team dominate for 6 months.

101 is just a 1 game thing, meh.

Well it all depends on what the 73 wins leads to. Let's be honest here. If the team wins 73 games and wins a championship you'll be VERY hard pressed to find someone that would take the other option. But if the team just wins 73 games and doesn't win a championship then I'm sure they'll be people who rather see their favourite player score 101 points because that would be simply amazing.

I'd take wins over points any day.

Plus a 73 win team stands a far better chance of winning a championship than a team where a player scores 101 points in a game.

Wilt's 101 point game season he didn't even make the finals
Kobe's 81 point game season was a first round exit
Thompson's 73 point game was an artificial total by a player playing 48 minutes to go after the scoring title. His team didn't even win the game, he didn't get the scoring title, and they were a second round exit.

All that said, if someone does score 101 points, I want to be watching when it happens like I was for Kobe's 81.

Or get this: your favorite player getting 101 points, or your favorite getting a QUINTUPLE double (points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks)

Individual accomplishments are overrated.

That's no accomplishment for Diener. He once dropped 101 in a pickup game, against Jordan.
Yeah he also posted up Shaq and hit a sky hook on him. We are supposed to be talking in green font am I correct?

73 wins. 101 points wouldn't come through good team play it would require gunning for it. Even Wilt was embarrassed by his 100 point effort.

Neither, championships are all that matters.

Now, if you ask the question assuming my team wins the championship along with it, I'll take the 73 wins.

Golden State win 73 games in regular season, sweep the PO series, and Baron Davis score 101 points in the last game against Kidd.

I'll rather watch 101 points since 73 wins doesn't guarantee a championship.

I would like to see SASHA VUJACIC score 101 points.

And oh, 101 points any day. Who cares about 73 wins if they get swept in the first round??
