the knicks have a franchise player?

Starbury, Randolph . . . they both think of themselves as franchise players . . . that's a big part of the Knicks problem (and no one would have denied that Randolph was Portland's franchise player before the trade).

You can't call Durant one of the worst franchise players after 0.5 of an NBA season.

Ben Wallace - he was paid big bucks (15.5 million) to be the Bulls franchise player. His numbers this year

32.9 minutes, 4.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, .337 shooting, and the bulls are nearly 7 points per 100 possessions worse defensively when he's on the court.

Without a doubt, Pau Gasol.

It's not necessarily the 30 best players, either:
1) Chris Paul 2) Kobe Bryant 3) Kevin Garnett 4) Lebron James 5) Baron Davis 6) Amare Stoudemire 7) Dwyane Wade 8) Dirk Nowitzki 9) Steve Nash 10) Gilbert Arenas 11) Jason Kidd 12) Deron Williams 13) Yao Ming 14) Tracy McGrady 15) Tim Duncan 16) Chris Bosh 17) Paul Pierce 18) Al Jefferson 19) Allen Iverson 20) Carmelo Anthony 21) Dwight Howard 22) Kevin Durant 23) Caron Butler 24) Vince Carter 25) Carlos Boozer 26) Pau Gasol 27) Michael Redd 28) Chauncey Billups 29) Joe Johnson 30) Josh Howard?

More or less.

I hope that's not your actual ranking of them, because if it was, that's just terrible.

:banghead:

I find it funny Cavs fan talk about Ben Wallace being overpaid . Since they did the same thing with Larry Hughes Signing . Plus his contracted has more years than Ben Wallace Contract

As of right now, Ben's contract is worse.

your gm did by signing him to that contract and making him the highest paid player on the team then confirmed that opinion by refusing to pay other players as much.

JO is the worst of the "franchise" players. Joe Johnson has to be up there too.
